After I finish setting up an air bed in my room for Jamie in my room, we all gather downstairs to watch a movie.
I decide to let Taylor pick it. He picks white House down, but before he can put it in, my mom, her boyfriend, and baby Taylor come through the door.
I freeze knowing I will have to explain the extra people in our house.
"Hey, sweetie! Did you make some new friends?" My mom sets Taylor down in his high chair thing and turns to us.
"Umm..."
Taylor gives me a reassuring look and stands up. "It's nice to meet you Ms. Blue. My name is Taylor Cartel, and if it's ok with you, I will be staying in your house for a couple weeks while my family is in the process of moving."
I must have had a shocked look on my face because Jamie nudged me in the stomach while standing up.
She stuck out her hand while saying, "Hi. I'm Jamie. His sister. I will also be staying with you if that's ok."
My mother looks shocked, while I go to help Daniel get their bags from the car.
We make small talk while I hear my mother talking to Taylor and Jamie then I hear laughing and I instantly feel better.
Walking in with the bags I set them down and greet my mother.
She warns me about any romance with Taylor and I just scoff.
"Trust me. Nothing will happen." And with that, I go back to the living room where Taylor and Jamie are already popping in the movie.
I sit down next to Taylor on the coach and he leans over and whispers something to me.
"In case your mom asks questions, I'm of Philippine origin, I am a pro wakeboarder, and I love to paint."
I snicker and kick my feet up on the coffee table.
I will admit, Taylor's good looks distract me occasionally but other than that, I don't really feel an attraction towards him. And I'm the kind of girl who can tell when I like someone. Like when I first told Caleb I liked him.

Halfway through the movie Taylor yawns and rests his head on the couch. A few minutes later I feel a bump on my shoulder and look over to see his big head. Then I look over to see Jay laying her head on my lap.
"Great," I whisper to myself. Eventually, I fall asleep and dream of an alternate reality where I am a princess and Taylor is my stable boy. We eventually fall in love but then I am murdered.
I wake up in a cold sweat, in my bed, with different clothes. Wondering how I got there I go to the bathroom to splash some water on my face. Jamie is still sound asleep so I decide to go eat.
Downstairs, I find Taylor eating some multi-colored cereal and looking at his black iPhone 7. I sit down across from him and pour a bowl of Rice Krispies. Slowly I start eating while staring at him.
"Do you know how I got in my room last night?" He barely acknowledges me, but then answers.
"I took you up there." He looks up just long enough to smirk and looks back at his phone.
I scoff then continue. "Did you also change my clothes?" I eye him suspiciously and he smirks.
"So what if I did?" His smirk grows wider and I smirk back.
"I just might have to punish you." I lean over the table and raise my eyebrows.

At the end of an uneventful school day, I receive a phone call from a blocked caller.
When I answer I hear a distorted voice.
"Joe Malcolm and His Associates. Why did you rob them?" I am a little freaked out so it takes me a few seconds to answer.
"Who the fuck is this?"
The deep distorted voice responds quickly. "Wouldn't you like to know Ms. Blue."
He knows my name. It knows my name.
"I will find you. And when I do, you will tell me everything."
