"In which he almost gets what he wants"
Her wavy blonde manes glowed against the dimly lit post beside the closed jewelry store. Her lips we're set into a straight line, showing that she was rather displeased.
"I always get what I want, whether he likes it or not." Her shadowy frame slowly disappeared upon walking.

She was greeted with a man seated in a luxurious mahogany table, his arms we're crossed, scanning the new emails he had received from the finance department. He looked perplexed yet very cold without giving the effort to do so. Her heels clicked against the titled floor giving away her presence.
"Mr. Heartfilia, these are the printed reports of activities presented by the marketing staff." The brown leatherate folder was given with the logo of their company as it's cover font. "Have you already finished what I asked you to?" He flipped some of the pages giving a skeptical look.
She bowed slightly not even glancing at his direction. He grimaced once he hadn't heard her response. "I see..." He suddenly smacked his hand against his desk making her flinch in return. "I do not tolerate failures Lucy. You're an heiress to this corporation and I expect you not to tarnish our reputation. Don't ever come back not until you had gotten the deal! Do I had to make myself clear?"
"Y-yes sir." She mumbled slowly, scurrying outside his office.
A loud sigh escaped her mouth once she closed the doors. Her back leaned against it while her right hand was clutching her chest. What the heck was she thinking?! She could've accepted the deal!
Her black pencil skirt clung to her waist down to her legs, striding down to her own desk. Pairs of curious eyes still stuck into her voluptuous frame, ignoring some admired gazes from men.
She sat unto her usual chair beggining to briefly research her target. Momo couldn't even thoroughly had the background check and she made sure that she would.
Natsu Dragneel. 26 years of age. Studied Civil Engineering at Magnolia University.
There was nothing but basic information. His brother was Zeref Dragneel whom she met at the restaurant and Rakheid Dragneel who was reported to be missing. Other than their parents who adopted them, she hadn't even accomplish what she wanted to know. What did she wanted to gain? What was that he lack of? His biological parents? She doubted it. With those cold charcoal eyes, she knew he wouldn't care to know either. What was missing?
Her eyes narrowed once she opened a new browser. News articles and clippings started to appear in her monitor. She scrolled down and scanned those that we're deemed important.
Was he gay? She asked herself, noticing that he hadn't had any affairs with any other women other than... Luciana Heartlock. Her eyebrows raised once she glanced at their photos. Her arms we're tightly wrapped around his while smiling gleefully at the media but his expression told another hidden story. Her head started to throb at the thought. "Ughh.." Her hands quickly went to the scalp of her hair, a whizz of a scene came inside her brain. She vaguely see an image of her standing at the edge of the railings clutching a metallic object. But what was it? Her head ached just merely searching for what was lost inside the vast hole inside her mind. She quickly remisced what had happened that early afternoon.
"You." His voice never faltered in the end, fully decided. "Miss Heartfilia. "
She was agape once his gaze neither blink nor hesitate. He was certain that he'd want her. "W- what? I don't understand. If this is about you getting down my pants, then no."
A humorless chuckle escaped his lips. "Why would I even hit a woman like you? You certainly entertain me Miss Heartfilia."
"Then what do you want Mr. Dragneel?"
"Simple, clean my house every weekends. Since I need a housekeeper every now and then."W-What? She was expecting a different answer but it seems that expectations always fails her. What does she want him to answer anyway? She quickly shook the thought away. Why was she even bothered by his request? It seems that there was still a mind boggling question that she wanted to answer.
A smirk made it's way into his lips. "Why Miss Heartfilia? Am I disappointing you?" She responded with a grunt. "Why would I? What should it be that I should expect Mr. Dragneel?"
"You won't deceive me again in this lifetime, Lucy. Just call me if you change your mind." He got up from his seat and left without a small goodbye. Her eyebrows knotted in confusion and in disbelief. How dare him say sorry and yet accuse her again of the same crime? His feet had stopped once he had reached the door. "Oh and I do appreciate if you would stop checking me out." He gracefully walked out of the scene leaving her flushed and flabbergasted. He seemed to know about what she had ordered to have a background check on him.
She didn't care if Mr. Dragneel would know that she was keeping tabs of him even after that incident. Her father specifically wanted him to work in their company for accomplishing the task in expanding the hotel in a place in which her father haven't announced yet.
Out of all successful engineers in the country, why would father wanted him? Is he even in competent with those famous bachelors that often seen on magazines and tabloids? Lucy would soon found it out.
She brushed a single strand of her hair away from her face, completely oblivious to noises in the background.
Infamous bachelor Natsu Dragneel, already married?
Her eyes zoomed over to a tall woman with her back in front of the camera. She had a tattoo placed on the upper right side of her back, wearing a backless dress had helped Lucy of identifying the woman. But, who could it be? She wasn't sure for the crowd had always assumed things that their eyes only see but not actually verifying all the details. They could could turn lies into truths and that's what also terrifies her.

And did she married him for money? We'll soon find out. Many hopeful hearts of women alike would all be broken if they would know that their brooding heartthrob had his heart already belong to someone else. Stay tuned for more updates.
She closed her computer, leaning against her chair. So that jerk was already married? She wasn't so sure since the articles wasn't even certain of it. She went to push the button from the intercom. "Momo, I would like you to set an appointment with Mr. Dragneel again."
