"The man she used to know."
She had find herself lost in the sea of crowd. Everything was painted in dim monochrome that she could only make out slow movements of people passing by. Why was she here? She couldn't remember. Although lost, she knew herself that she had been in the place she was now before. But what? What could possibly her mind trying to say?
She wanted to know. She wanted to unravel all the secrets that she herself has been hiding. She wanted to unlock the emotions that her previous self had manifested. But what? How could she decipher a dream from reality? The scarf, a pink haired male, all of it had crossed her dreams and yet she was doubtful. What if it was just like any ordinary dream? What if it was just her present self reacting?
She was scared, confused and lost. Her mind was telling her things yet her body had acted differently. Something hazy shows up to her. The person stood before her among other people. He had looked at her with something she herself had long stripped away. It was love.
His eyes smiled brightly and yet a goofy grin in his face. The place was cold yet his smile gave warmth no matter how sappy she sounded like.

I stretched out my arms, feeling refreshed and relaxed today. My nose was a bit red due from facing down my pillow. There was moist in my window and drops of water from plants indicating that it had rained the night.
I tied my hair in front of a mirror and brushed my teeth before proceeding to make way towards the kitchen. Everything was neat and the refrigerator as well. I scowled once there were mostly bottles of liquor next to a stack of instant goods. There was a box of frozen fish and took it from the storage to defrost.
A yawn broke out as I salvaged decent ingredients for the day. I whipped up some spices to lift the flavors. The sizzling noise fron the pan overwhelmed the sound of my slow breathing or that of the birds outside. My eyes shot through the cabinets and opened to see if anything were decent enough to use.
Tobasco sauce.. tobasco sauce, chilli salsa... tobasco sauce... My lips went to a grim line when it was nothing but pure spicy. Surely he would have a lifetime supply of this? I felt such waves of intensity from my back and turned towards the suspecting culprit.
His hands were both tugging a towel drapped around his neck. There was this soft look in his eyes but came hardened immediately when I watched him enter. For a nanosecond, I thought he had something else underneath those hard exterior. "What are you making?" He shrugged nonchalantly as if there was no unwanted tension around us. His hand went down to slide the chair to seat, eyes boring down to mine.
"Hmmm... I was thinking of curry since there no other ingredients around which reminds me to have to go to groceries later." He made no haste reply as his shoulders visibly relaxed. There was that look again.. before he curiously peeked over. "Add more tobasco sauce for me." I breathed deeply, keeping my cool. This man.. "Yes, sir."
His eyebrows raised in such a manner. "What?" I crossed my arms, the laddle firmly grasped by my right hand. "You heard me."
"Hhmp.." Such a child. I wonder how would he react when this laddle smacks his forehead? "I'll take you to the store after. I've got a clear schedule today." I seemed to be taken aback by his statement. His face morphed into a scowl. "My meal. Tend to it, woman."
I quickly got dressed to simple shirt and shorts as we descended down outside. After we ate our meal, we quickly came to our rooms to change. His eyes scanned down to my outfit before he went inside the driver's seat. I went down next to him before we drove off to the nearest store.
Natsu had shut the door as soon as we had arrived at the establishment a few blocks near the heart of the city. We went in silence, getting the cart to buy what we needed.
The male had followed me, inspecting a few items along the way and shoving them down to the cart. Let's not forget about the tobasco sauce he added. Natsu went on another direction to look for canned goods. In a distant aisle, I could've sworn I saw a shady color of brown, whimpering over a tall figure.
My eyes narrowed as I went closer to them. Momo? This was a rather different case. Her eyes shone darkly against the dim light which the tall stocks had blocked the light through.
"Tch.... one way or another"
I felt a hand on my shoulder, causing me to turn my attention to another person. "What are you doing?" Natsu. I sighed, feeling a small look of concern in his face. "I'm fine. I'm just looking for something." His eyes raked through my previous direction, I looked the same. It simply was empty as if no one had been there.
"Natsu!" We heard a small yell from my right side. A strikingly ebony woman grinned cheekily, waving at him with such warm smile. The young bachelor waved back, a childish toothy grin in his face. "How are you? Where have you been all these years? You've changed." Natsu grinned, ruffling her tender hair much to the girl's slight annoyance. "Laury, fancy seeing you here." Her eyes beamed happily before turning to the strange woman beside him.
Never have I ever seen him smile that way. Too genuine for me to bear. His eyes shone with keen interest listening to what she has to say. "This is Lucy, I'm collaborating with her with the new project. And Lucy this is Laury, my colleague. She's quite the temper." The female named Laury scowled. "I do not."
