"[Name]! [Brother's name]! Sweethearts! There's letters for you!"

You groggily opened your eyes and sighed, calling back a half-hearted reply. You weren't prepared for this day in any way shape or form, but then again, it wasn't like you were ever prepared for any other day.

Rubbing at your eyes as you quietly slipped down the stairs, your twin brother, whom you despised on a daily basis, nudged you in the back.

"Come on, [Nickname], hurry up! Maybe your letter is an acceptance letter to the Reserve Course." He jeered, pushing past you.

"I didn't apply for it!" You huffed, holding back a snide comment. [Brother's name] was annoying anyway, but even worse in the mornings, and you hated it.

"Stupid [hair colour]..." You mumbled, sitting down and running your fingers across the seal of the envelope.

"You both take so long to wake up." Your mother exclaimed, ruffling both yours and his hair with a light sigh, "I hope you both haven't gotten into trouble..."

Suddenly, a screech emit from your brothers throat, making you nearly fall off your chair in surprise.

"[Name]! Open your letter! Open it!" He urged, his eyes darting back and forth from yours and his envelopes.

"Why? What's in..." You trailed off, reading the dark copperplate writing on the paper.

Ultimate musician.

You both stayed silent, and your mother took a step back in fear that you would both simultaneously combust, or something of the sort.

And then, to cut the long lasting silence, you both let out identical screams, before jumping up and down, arms wrapped around each other.

"A-Actor!"

"Musician!"

"What's going on with you both?!" Your mother quietened you both, hands on her hips, "If it's another one of your pranks-"

"We're going to Hope's Peak!"

Unfortunately, later that day, your mother had forced you both out the house to find an apartment to live in, since your home was too far away from the academy to travel back and forth everyday.

"[Name], I don't want to live with you any longer than I have to." [Brother's name] growled, pinching at the bridge of his nose.

"Then don't live with me at all! I'll find somewhere else!" You snapped, feeling hurt at his comment. You'd never been apart for more than a week, so why he didn't need you anymore dampened your mood.

After you arrived at the complex, you walked up the various flights of stairs before you reached the place you were both supposed to stay at, but he continued walking.

"W-Where are you going? Where are you going to stay?"

"There's another apartment upstairs that's being let out. I'll find the owner and ask." He trudged up another flight of stairs, a frown on his face, and yours was identical.

"Hmph, whatever." You anxiously knocked on the door, fiddling with the hem of your jacket. The sun shone through the large window and illuminated the pale coloured hall, and despite how pretty it was, it didn't make you feel any better.

Seconds later, a boy with short brown hair and olive coloured eyes opened the door, staring at you in surprise.

"Hello?" A small and awkward smile lit his face up, "Can I help you?"

"T-This place is being rented out to students, right?" You asked, preparing for the worst and making yourself seem like an idiot.

"It was, it's a two-person flat. The guy who owns it got tired of waiting for another person to show up, so he just gave me the keys." He said, a small chuckle escaping his lips, before his eyes turned back to you, "Were you wanting to stay here too?"

"I was going to, but it's fine! I won't intrude on-"

"No-! No it's fine!" He protested, putting a hand to the back of his head, "Did you send out an application?"

"I did, last night-"

Speak of the devil, the supposed owner came casually walking up the stairs, a ginger male with blazing blue eyes.

"You must be the chick who asked to stay! Nice to meet you!"

After a brief introduction and long winded interview, the male, who you now knew as Leon, handed you another set of keys.

"Move in whenever you're ready, [Nickname]!" He called, sending the brunet a sly glance, "And no...you know-"

"I would never!" You both screeched, making him start laughing.

Later, the boy had invited you inside, and to your surprise, the apartment was well kept and organised.

"My names Hinata, by the way. Hajime Hinata." He said as you closed the door behind you, following him through the rooms.

"I'm [Last name]! [N-Name]...[Last name]..." You spluttered, trying not to seem so excited on making friends with Hajime.

It was rare when someone so openly greeted you, and you didn't have many friends to begin with. Maybe Hope's Peak would change that.

"So, are you going to Hope's Peak, Hinata?" You asked, and he froze in his tracks, "H-Hinata?"

He looked down, a horrible sadness engulfing his eyes, but the second he looked back up at you, it was gone, "Ahah...I w-wasn't scouted."

"Don't abandon hope yet! You'll get in, I know you will!"

"I've known you five minutes, and yet, that's comforting...in a sense." He mumbled, pushing open another door, "This would be your room."

"It's huge!" You abandoned your last conversation, and flung yourself into your bed, "And I didn't think Kuwata would have this place furnished very well..."

"Don't let him hear you say that, he'll hit you with a baseball bat." He grinned at you as you sat up.

"Well, Hinata, I know I'm going to enjoy living with you!" You exclaimed, and a firey red dusted his cheeks.

"Y-You too, [Last name]."
