Hajime: Good morning, everyone. God has let me live another day, and I'm about to make it everyone's problem.

The morning announcement was what ripped Hajime from his quiet lull far from sleep, the incessant chiming almost causing an instant headache.

"Ahem! Hope's Peak Academy's School Trip Executive Committee has an announcement to make! Gooood morning everyone!" The piercing noise of Monokuma's voice filled his room in an instant, and Hajime could barely find the energy to lift his head to see the bear with a martini on the monitor. "Now, then, let's show some enthusiasm for the day and make sure to give it our all!"

The monitor's feed soon faded back to nothing and the room was silent once more. Yesterday hadn't been a dream, the acknowledgment of it all had put him in a bad mood from the get-go... but he couldn't mope in his room all day, he had to go outside for fresh air at the very least

However, he'd barely stepped outside when he crashed into Kazuichi who was walking by, the two letting out similarly high-pitched screams of terror as they jolted away from each other. They soon began pointing the blame at each other for being suspicious and to stop being so terrifying, before they grew silent and stood in shame at their previous outburst.

They stood there for an agonising few minutes until they were greeted by Peko, with her brow furrowed and an intense frown sitting on her face. Kazuichi once more broke out into a horrified scream that a monster had come to kill them, making her sigh. "I came to get you both, and here you are, calling me a monster... we've all been waiting for you at the restaurant and you never showed."

As Kazuichi broke back down into a blubbering mess and dashed away at the speed of sound, he left Hajime to stand in complete bewilderment. He pulled himself together soon enough and made his way over to the hotel restaurant that Peko had disappeared back towards— in the opposite direction to where Kazuichi had made his way towards.

He was immediately chastised for being late as he entered the restaurant by multiple people, quietly apologising as he caught sight of you conversing with Nagito. Once the attention was off of himself, he sheepishly dodged past everyone and made his way over to the two of you, and was, for once, greeted warmly.

You were the first to speak aloud to the group as everyone had dwindled off into their own pairings,  peering past the brunet. "So, why did you gather us all here, Togami-kun? Are you making an announcement on what you said yesterday?"

He said he wouldn't speak until Kazuichi arrived from his... whatever he was doing, and it didn't seem like he'd be showing his face any time soon with how fast Hajime claimed he had run in the opposite direction. As a result, everyone decided to eat breakfast first instead of idly waiting.

"Where did this all come from anyway?" Hajime asked between bites of toast, glancing around at the spread that seemed to fill almost three large tables. It was a lot to make in a short amount of time, and he didn't exactly pin Teruteru as this fast of a chef...

"When [Last name]-san and I arrived this morning, everything was already here." Nagito replied with a gentle smile since you were in the middle of eating, speaking a little too late as you swallowed to respond as fast as you could. As he gently tapped your back as you began choking to death, he turned his attention back up to Hajime. "Hanamura-san says he didn't prepare it, though..."

... Just as Hajime had expected, hastily handing you a glass of water as you lifted your head from your previous choking, tears in your eyes. With a raspy 'thank you', you began chugging the drink as Teruteru spoke up with an irritated sigh. "My food isn't as shitty as this spread, I make world class dishes. Comparing that and I is out of the question!"
