You lay sprawled across your bed, pen in your mouth, and ready to kill yourself. Chisa had decided it would be a good idea to set you homework, and it just had to be [Least favourite subject].
You let out a loud yell of frustration, and you heard several glasses smash in the kitchen.
"S-Sorry, Hinata!" You called, and you heard him sigh in exasperation. Minutes later, he knocked on your door and slowly pushed it open, two mugs in his hands.
"You scared me, I thought you had broken a bone or something." He grinned as you sat up, pulling the various papers towards you, before taking a mug from him, "What's this?"
"I want to die." You wailed, falling backwards into your pillows, "She'll never mark it anyway!"
His eyes wandered across your paper, before he pointed at where you had stopped writing. Your eyes widened as he began explaining everything to you, because you never in a million years would've thought that he-
"[Last name]? You're staring at me like I'm some prince or something again."
"Eh?! I am not!" You protested, kicking him off your bed.
"That hurt!" He whined, rubbing at his ahoge as he sat back up. You rolled your eyes at him and pulled your papers back, writing the rest of your paragraph in silence.
Somehow, you forgot Hajime was there, until he awkwardly cleared his throat, making you glance up at him.
"H-Hey, [Last name]?"
"That's my name, don't overuse it." You looked back down at your work, making him frown.
"I was wondering if you wanted to come out somewhere with me tomorrow?" He mumbled, and you choked on thin air.
"I'd love to!" You snorted as he ruffled your hair, a large grin gracing your face. As the night continued, you both lost track of time, talking about anything and everything and you both had more in common with the other than you thought you did.
Eventually though, you dozed off and fell asleep alongside him, and ended up in a tangled heap on your bed, vague smiles on both of your faces.

"So let me get this straight..." You asked as you both wandered through a deserted street, laughing at the top of your voice. He had told you some story about Natsumi and other Reserve Course students, and you couldn't stop yourself from giggling.
You eventually reached the café in which Hajime worked, and he anxiously tugged at his black tie as he noticed his co-workers sat at other tables. He let out a panicked yelp, before tugging on your arm.
"We should go somewhere else-!"
"Oi! Hinata!" Someone with light brown hair yelled, and he went rigid. He thought he could escape the girl, but unfortunately, today was not his day.
"N-Naegi." He reluctantly turned back around, facing his co-worker, Komaru Naegi, with a forced smile. You snorted, about to drag him out of the shop to save him from his rather inevitable fate, but she stopped you.
"What are you doing here at the weekend?" She slapped him on the back, eyes wandering over to you as he let out a choke, "Huh? Who's this?"
"[L-Last name]." He spluttered, "[Last name] [Name]."
"You're the [Last name] I hear about all the time?" A mischievous smirk crawled up her, "Hinata didn't let on that you were this cute!"
"E-Eh?" You felt heat rise to your cheeks, and you felt ready to blast yourself to space. For the fact that Hajime spoke about you during work hours was one thing, but that he spoke about you all the time?
Your cheeks resembled Mahiru's hair at this point.
You glanced up at Hajime, who had raised his eyebrow towards the girl, as if it was a warning sign. She didn't take the hint that he was about to throw her through the window, so he dragged you out of the shop to save himself the embarrassment.
You stayed silent for the rest of your walk through the town, before you finally gained enough courage to speak again.
"So you talk about me, hm?" You piped up, and it took every ounce of what was left of his will to jump vertically to the moon. He let out a (rather uncharacteristic) shriek of protest, and you began laughing once more.
"O-Only because you're my friend!" He complained, elbowing you, "And Naegi doesn't know when to leave me alone!"
"Maybe I'll talk to her more-"
"No you won't!" He slapped a hand over his eyes, sighing heavily. He was resisting the urge to scream, he did not need you to know what he said during his work hours. You eventually gave up on your teasing, and noticed a variety of ties hanging inside a store.
"Hey, Hinata! You should get a new tie, since you always wear that same boring one!" You tugged on his arm, and his eyes widened in surprise. You grabbed the one that had caught your eye first, and you held it up at him.
An olive tie with a green emblem throughout.
"[Last name], are you really sure about that? It's not really my-"
"Come on!" You pressed, already heading to the cashier, "I'm getting it for you whether you like it or not!"
Later that night, hours after you had gone to sleep, he awkwardly stood in front of his mirror, eyes scanning across himself. Hajime let the tie slip between his fingers, before it dropped loose around his neck.
It wasn't his style, he wouldn't have ever chose it in a million years, but you had chosen it for him and it made his mood lift at the thought.
Feeling a vague blush dust across his cheeks, he held a hand over his small smile, eyes softening.
"Thank you, [Last name]."
