You sprinted to school, tears blurring your vision. You couldn't process the fact Natsumi was dead, and your mind wouldn't let you accept it. As much as you didn't really like her, you sure as hell didn't want her to die. It had to be a joke. It had to be some sort of sick and twisted joke.
As you pushed open the metal gates to the school with the help of Hajime, you were able to run towards the Main Course building without any problems, though onlooking police gave you a few side glances.
Hajime, however, had a much harder time.
He ended up in a confrontation with someone you immediately recognised as Juzo Sakakura, someone you saw on the news now and again. He was meant to be the Ultimate Boxer, right? So why was he here?
Before you could begin to process anything to pull the latter into the main course, Juzo had thrown him to the floor, which made you panic, "H-Hinata! Hinata-!"
He glared at you as he got back up, making you jolt back in surprise. They both began fighting each other again, and you knew who the winner would be. You ran into the main course building in fear, shouting Chisa's name at the top of your lungs.
You eventually found the teacher, who dropped everything she was doing to come and stop them both. She ran between the two, Juzo's fist stopping short at her face, which made him huff in anger. Hajime bat her hand away as she offered him her handkerchief, stumbling over to you instead.
You frantically pulled him forward as he wiped his bleeding face, wincing at the effort it was taking him to walk, "Hinata! H-Hajime! Hajime look at me!"

You had managed to get the boy home after he had passed out with the help of some of your friends, and now you were just waiting for him to start talking to you again. He was beyond pissed, it was easy to tell, and he wouldn't even look in your general direction.
You pulled your legs up under your chin, tears beginning to silently slip down your cheeks as you began to realise the hopelessness of the situation. Natsumi was dead. An unjust death that made your heart constrict.
Hajime was fighting back tears himself, since that was his classmate, his classmate, that had died. The second he saw you start crying, he put his pride aside and pulled you into a tight embrace. You ended up sobbing into his shoulder for a while, until you somehow managed to calm down, hiccuping and sniffing.
The night after that went by slow, and you and Hajime couldn't find a topic to talk about that wouldn't drain out in seconds. When he remembered what he could ask, though, he quickly turned, trying to smile. It probably wasn't the best time to ask, but if it got a conversation started, so be it.
"I was meant to ask you earlier, u-until things got so..." He trailed off, nodding before he continued, "D-Do you want to go to a bath house with me?"
You froze the second the words 'bath house' came out of his lips, and you thought he literally wanted to take you to a house made out of baths. Then when it hit you what an actual bath house was, you blinked in surprise, nodding quickly.
"Why a bath house, of all places?" You snorted, rubbing at your eyes as you grinned at him, "You trying to spy on some chicks?"
"I am not!" He huffed haughtily, folding his arms, "Just my mom had some passes to go to a bath house in Tokyo, you know the big one? But my dad couldn't go with her...so looks like I get them."
It would be a great distraction from Natsumi, so you shakily grinned back at him, trying to look forward to the day.
Date.
