"Jackie and Lilly sure have been speeding a lot of time together lately," Jade said to Toru.
"Well they are friends."
"They're more than friends! They're the perfect couple!"
"I don't think they're dating Jade."
"Of course they are! They spend to much time together. I'll prove it." She ran up to Jackie and Lilly who were studying a book together nearby. "Are you two dating?"
"Well, uh, I mean," Jackie stuttered.
"Not exactly," Lilly said. "Right now we're just friends." Jade pouted. "Not that I would mind dating your Uncle Jackie, but there is someone else that I like too."
Jackie looked at her. "You really like me?"
"There's someone else?" Jade said disappointed.
"Yeah. He was in a bad place before and I helped him. He's actually my business partner now. We own a tech company called Lilly Tech. His idea not mine."
"I didn't know you owned your own company," Jackie said.
"Lilly Tech!" Jade exclaimed. "That's the new tech company. They're supposed to be the best tech company in town!"
"Thank you. If you want I can give you two a tour. Then you can meet my partner."
"Sure," Jade said before Jackie could respond.
"Great. How about tomorrow?"
"We'll be there," Jade said.
"Great I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye Jackie," she said and then left the shop.
Jade turned to Jackie grinning, but Jackie just shook his head. "Jade," he sighed.
