Chapter 10

Hey guys sorry for the late update but I'm planning on starting another book. I know its kinda early but I've been having great ideas for the book.

Anyways as usual pls vote and comment also I'm open to criticism. I really want to thank Lily43lyly for voting for every chapter.

I was so scared. Elliot and I stood in front of the pack house. I felt as if my heart would pop out of my chest. I was actually surprised that there was no one around. As if reading my mind Elliot answered my question.

"They are probably at a pack meeting and no one expected me to return so soon." I looked at him and nodded in understanding. "C'mon let's go inside." Reluctantly I walked through the door that Elliot had opened for me and was amazed at what I saw. The pack house wasn't as huge as Alpha Jakes own but it was far more lovely and homely than that of Alpha Jake since he didn't like too much decorations so it was almost plain. But this pack house was amazing and I started feeling comfortable. Elliot started showing me round the pack house and all the rooms but he showed me his last. His room was huge and really nice.

"We can stay here and talk a bit before everyone comes back." He looked at me with an uncertain look. "I know we just met and I brought you here suddenly but I want to get to know you even though it might take sometime. "

I really didn't know what to tell Elliot because my life has just been messed up but I decided to go with the basics. I was about to ask him what he wanted to know but I figured he would say 'everything' and I wasn't ready to tell him everything.    

"OK my full name Mia Sapphire King. I'm 16 going to 17 and I'm the only child. I like singing, dancing, helping people and I hate two-faced people/hypocrites. " Elliot was actually listening to everything I was saying. "I guess that's about it for now."Elliot just smiled at me. "Tell me about your parents. What are they like?" I was shocked he asked that question and just the memory if my parents made my eyes water.

"Actually my parents are both dead. " Elliots smile vanished as fast as it came and before he could say anything I continued.

"I really loved my parents but the feeling wasn't mutual." The tears started falling slowly and Elliot wiped them. He took my chin so that I would be looking at him since I put my head down. "I'm sure your parents loved you but they just had a very funny way of showing it. "

I huffed as the memories came flooding back. "They hit me for even breathing and you call that love." His face fell and he looked shocked and angry. "They hit you?"
I nodded. "If they werent dead I could have hunt them down myself and ripped out their hearts. " I shuddered at the thought and was thinking of how to calm my mate but I didn't know what to do. "Anyways let me tell you about myself. " I signed in relief because he calmed himself down. "My full name is Elliot Theo Hunter.I'm 18. I love my pack,my parents and I'm very sure that I'm really gonna love my mate....". I blushed at that last statement. "...I hate rogues and traitors....." And it went on. We both asked each other questions that weren't personal and I laughed at some stupid things he did as a child and I felt so happy just being here with him. After a long time we heard the sound of people coming into the pack house. I didn't realise that time had gone so fast and I became nervous again. I was scared that they all wouldn't accept me. Elliot held my hand and it helped boost my confidence. "Don't worry love,they'll all be happy to meet you". I blushed at the endearment. Elliot just laughed a little and pulled me from his room to the sitting room where those that had arrived stayed.
They looked so friendly to be honest and I suddenly felt relaxed.

I suddenly saw a very handsome(not as handsome as Elliot) guy with a broad smile on his face and he was heading towards Elliot and I. "Hey man,your back." he greeted doing some sort of handshake with Elliot. " I thought you wouldn't
come back until you find your....." That's when he noticed me standing halfly behind Elliot. 

"Oh my is that your mate?"
Elliot nodded.
"Mia, this is William my beta. William this is Mia my mate"
"She's so beautiful man. How did you find her so fast?"
I couldn't help but blush. No one had ever given me this much compliments in a day. "Let's just say I'm a very lucky man." The both of them laughed at that and Elliot introduced me to the rest of his pack including his parents who were very nice to me.

Elliot left to his office after a while to do some pack work while I made friends. I met a girl named Cassie and she was really nice and all but I couldn't let go of the feeling that I had heard her name somewhere.I chose to ignore it and we got to know each other a little before Elliot sent for me in his office. I knocked on the door.
"You do know that this is partly your office so there's no need to knock,don't you?" Elliot said from inside and I opened the door and entered ignoring his question.

"Sit" he commanded and I quickly did as I was told. "I just received an email from Jake inviting us for his party this Saturday and since I'm his cousin I have to go but he also invited you. " I was so shocked. Why would Jake invite me, maybe its because I'm now Elliots mate he didn't want me to be left out. "I was just wondering if you would feel comfortable going back there ."

How can I go back there so soon when I was wishing that I wouldn't see them again. No I didn't want to go but I had to so as not to look like the coward Jake thought I was. I had to face him and be strong since one day I would be the Luna of this pack.
