After there almost kiss, Kevin can't wait to see Edd. But when the morning came, everything took a turn for the worse.
I hope you enjoy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The next morning Kevin woke up extra early. He would always be running late and having Edd waiting outside in the car. He felt bad about it, so he wanted to be up and ready by the time the brunette got there. The alarm clock on his nightstand read 9:55am by the time he was ready to go.
Those five minutes went by like water and there was a honk from the drive way.
"Right on time as usual," he laughed.
He grabbed his keys and jacket before heading out the door. When he made it to the drive way he froze. Instead of seeing a black Honda, Kevin saw a navy blue Corvette. He slowly approached the car and the driver's side door swung open. A young man with short blond hair got out and bowed.
"Good morning sir. My name is Alex and I will be your ride this morning."
Kevin looked at him with a confused look on his face. Not only because this guy was bowing and being all formal, but because of the fact that he wasn't Eddward.
"Where's Edd? He usually picks me up," Kevin asked.
"Mister Eddward has orders from Linda that will be keeping him busy for awhile," Alex replied." Shall we go then sir, we don't want be late."
Alex walked around and opened the passengers door. The red-head just stood there for a moment before walking over and getting into the car.
The drive to the studio was an uncomfortable one. Alex was talking about work that Linda had planned for Kevin to do, and what today's uniform was( baseball.) But all that was on the red-head's mind was that sad look on Edd's face the last time he saw him. That was the second time he had seen it, and the second time he couldn't do anything about it. What was wrong? Why did he have that look again? Why? All these questions kept popping into his mind. The last thing that popped up was of last night and how they had almost... Kevin's face flushed. He shook his head, took a deep breath, and tried to calm himself down.
When they finally made it to the studio, Alex got out the car, walked around, and opened the passengers door for Kevin. The red-head got out the car and told blondie that all that wasn't necessary. But all Alex did was smile and said that he insisted on treating him this way. Walking into the building Kevin spotted Linda discussing something with a group of people. She did not look pleased.
"Oh Kevin!! You're right on time for once," she laughed when she spotted the boys by the door. She walked over and with a disappointed look and said," I'm so sorry, but I need to take care of a few things that is going to keep me busy all day. I do appreciate you coming but you can have the day off today."
"Is everything alright? Do you need me to help in anyway?," Kevin asked politely.
Linda only smile and shook her head before walking out the door to her car.
Both Alex and Kevin just stood there in the lobby. This was turning out to be one weird day. Alex offered to drive the red-head back home, but he nicely declined the offer. Although he was nowhere near home, Kevin decided to walk. Maybe the fresh air would help clear his head.
An hour had passed when Kevin finally admitted he was lost. He had wonder around trying to find his was back to studio so he could call a cab. But he had no idea where he was or how to get home, and it was starting to get late. Kevin walked into a convenient store to get a snack and something to drink. He hadn't eaten anything since morning and his stomach was starting to get the best of him.
