After having that bizarre dream, Kevin had a hard time focusing on his shoot. He missed his cue twice and would sometimes even start asking himself random questions. Why did I have a dream about Edd? Why did it have to be a dream like that? What’s going on with me?

“Kevin you missed your cue again,” the cameraman shouted to the dazed red-head.

“Let’s take five,” Linda announced and called Kevin over.

“I’m sorry Linda. I’m just not myself today.”

“Is this about Eddward again?”

The red-heads face flushed with embarrassment and he nodded. He tried his hardest to avoid Linda’s gaze, but she gently lifted his head with her hand.

“I know you miss him but please try and focus a little more on the shoot, alright?” She said in soft tone with a smile and walked away.

Kevin sighed and walked over to the snack bar. He grabbed a water bottle and some trail mix. He then wandered off though the studio. He couldn’t go far since it was only a five minute break, so he stopped at his favorite spot. Or rather what used to be his favorite spot. He stopped in the same exact spot where he had first met Edd.

The red-head sighed and when he turned back around, he jolted in surprise. Alex, his new assistant, was standing behind him bowing. “Sir, the five minute break is over. It is time to get back onto the set.”

“Alex please for the last time, it’s Kevin and please stop with the bowing.” The red-head pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

“Forgive me Mr. Barr, but I can not commit to your request. You are a celebrity and I am your assistant, it is only logical to treat you with the utmost respect .” Alex retaliated.

Kevin sighed, he knew he wasn’t going to win, and followed Alex back to the set.

After a few more, poorly taken, shots, Linda called it a day and sent the red-head home. Kevin felt terrible for letting his boss down but in all honesty, he couldn’t help it. The red-head missed his dork a little more everyday. He had a hard time falling asleep at night, due to the dream the night before.

As he was walking through the lobby he over heard a group of interns talking.

“Did you hear? I heard that, that boy that Linda fired works at the bank just a few blocks from here.” Said the first intern.

“You mean Eddward? Yeah I saw him just a few days ago. Poor guy, I really do miss him."

Kevin froze in his tracks. Had he heard right? Linda said that Edd had quit, but now he heard that he was fired. Which story was true? One thing was confirmed, Edd was close and Kevin needed to see him.

Outside the studio Alex was waiting in his car. When the red-head emerged through the double doors, he got out and met him on the other side. Alex was about to open the passengers door when the red-head stopped him midway.

"I think I’ll go for a walk today Alex,” Kevin said turning in the opposite direction from him.

“But sir, Linda had informed me of you getting lost the last time you went for a walk. What if you get lost again?,” Alex asked almost in a panic.

It’s true Kevin did get lost, and he was lucky that time when Linda showed up and gave him a ride home. But he needed to see Edd and he knew Alex would tell Linda if Kevin had him drive him there. He thought about it for a moment then he reached for his phone.

“Hand me your phone.” Kevin commanded Alex.

The blonde handed him his phone and Kevin punched in his number, then he called himself and saved the number in his phone.
