“Everybody, please welcome Eddward Vincent.”

The class welcomed the brunette. Some girls even threw him a kiss. However, the brunette’s eyes were only on Kevin, who stared back in disbelief. Mrs. Flowers continued to speak, unaware of the situation happening right in front of her.

“Mr. Vincent, you may take your seat now.”

Edd didn’t respond.

“Mr. Vincent are you listening?!” she yelled.

The brunette snapped back and shook his head. “Huh?… Oh, my apologies” he replied shyly.

“I will not allow day dreaming in my class Mr. Vincent. Don’t let it happen again. Now take your seat next to Mr. Barr.”

Both Kevin’s and Edd’s face flushed. The brunette slowly walked over and sat down at his seat. They tried their hardest, but the red-head and brunette could not keep from blushing and hearts racing.

During class, the red-head could not help but glance over at Edd every now and again. He did not know what to do or say. After a week of worrying and sadness, there he was sitting right next to him. The red-head smirked at how adorably nerdy the brunette looked. He tore a piece of paper from his notebook and wrote something down. When he felt like nobody was looking, he carefully placed the note on Edd’s desk.

The brunette did not pay mind to it at first. Being the honor student and all, he knew passing notes in class was wrong. However, he desprately wanted to read what the red-head had written. He took a deep breath and took the paper in his hand. Carefully he unfolded it.

>"I can’t believe you’re really here. What happened to you? You disappeared?"

Edd’s heart stopped. He wrote something down and handed back the note.

>"Due to all the packing and moving, I was not able to communicate with anybody."

>”Oh, I see. I understand how that is. I could not talk to anybody for a while when I first moved here too. I’m just glad to see you’re alright. I was really worried about you."

> "I was worried about you too. How has it been at the studio? Has Linda said anything about my absence?"

Kevin scuffed.

>"That witch. I don’t care what she has to say about anything. But that pretty boy Nicolas is nothing to laugh about. I swear they are like mother and son."

Edd couldn’t help but chuckle. Mrs. Flowers heard this and faced the class. A dark aura filled the classroom, as everybody stared back in silence. When she turned back around, Edd and Kevin glaced over at each other and tried not to laugh.

When the bell rang for the students to head to their next class, the brunette and red-head walked down the crowded hall together. They laughed about Mr. Flowers reaction, and how everybody froze in fear.

“It was like everybody thought she was going to spit fire. Did you see the look on her face? She really needs to lighten up” Kevin laughed.

“That is true, but we were breaking the, ‘No Passing Notes’, rule.” Edd responded with a smile.

Kevin laughed and waved his hand, ”It’s cool as long as we don’t get caught.“

Right as the brunette was about to speak, the five minute warning bell rang. He apologized to the red-head, who simply nodded and waved. When they turned to go to their class they noticed something. They were walking in the same direction. Both boys blushed and walked in an awkward silence. When they made it to their next class, Kevin smiled and shook his head in disbielf. Edd smiled, shyly, and walked in.
