Chapter 6

Alright I'm just going to go into chapter 6. XD

Chapter 6

"Father? Are you in here?" Kiera looked left then right looking for the person in question.

"No but I'm here now Angel." The alpha shuddered as the name left he's lips.

"So Ryan I see you actually came to this house and ruined it with your stench." Ryan simply crossed his arms and gave a devilish smile.

"I know you love me." Wow he's really pushing for the sweetness card.

"Tell me who spread that rumor, because I love you as much as I love having my teeth ripped out." Now it was time for Ryan to take action. His smile gone without a trace.

"Girls do us a favor and give us a moment." Flashing a dazzling smile at them, the fox left but the jaguar lingered for a moment.

"Go it'll be over in a minute. I promise." Kiera let go of Katie's hand and creased her cheek. "Go."

"Alright but just be careful." Katie turned and left the kitchen.

Turning back to Ryan, Kiera's eyes changed to crimson red.

"I will never be yours Ryan. And its pack law that while at the house you are unable to harm me in any way. So you're in a stuck potion right now pup." A smirk crawled its way across Kiera's lips.

"Yes here you are but what about when you're out and about unaware of my presence. I could take you anytime Angle." Ryan's eyes had also taken a different color instead of hazel eyes they were a red but not furious like Kiera's eyes.

"Stop calling me Angle that's not my name and it never will be. And if your so obsessed with that name why didn't you chase after her?!" Kiera's ears had come out and some of her other features were changing as well. Her teeth sharpened and became bared, her lips pulled back in a snarl.

"Don't you think I tried?! But I was treated like a nobody and no one was getting anywhere with the Eldest, so all that was left in the close age range was you." Ryan stretched out an arm to cup Kiera's cheek.

"So I'm the runner up because you're so god damn hungry for power that if I don't mate with you, you will go insane. I'm sure you'll find someone much more fitting for you than me. Considering the fact that I'm a lesbian, and um oh yeah I'm not power hungry like you!" Kiera slapped Ryan's hand away. "Now I'm going to find Father and you shall leave Katie alone." The alpha started to leave but was caught by the wrist.

"You will pay for your foolishness." The beta whispered into her ear. "Your days are numbered Pup." Ryan shoved Kiera and let her go letting her fall to the ground.

In the Other Room

THUMP!

"What was that?" Katie looked towards the kitchen door.

"If I had to guess that was a giant thump." Maroon smirked down at her IPad.

"That's not what I meant and you know it!" Katie grabbed a pillow and bopped the fox over the head with a pillow. "I'm gunna check it out." Pushing up from the couch Katie felt for the kitchen.

In the Kitchen

"Guys are you okay?" The jaguar pushed the door open a little and saw Keira on the floor and Ryan standing over her with a smirk on his face.

"Whoa! What the hell happened in here?" Katie kneeled beside her girlfriend, and sent a nasty look up to Ryan.

"Easy! Easy. I'm alright I just slipped is all. Nothing to get worked up over." Kiera wrapped her arms around Katie to stop her from doing anything stupid.

"But-but!" Katie tried to spit out but Ryan's voice cut in.

"Ah what's the matter Angel, are you afraid to let your little pet speak." Ryan challenged.

"Of course not! But why embarrass your ass further if you can do it for us. Considering the fact that you have a history of getting shot down by girls." This time it was Keira's turn to get back at Ryan.

"That's not a fair card to play and you know it! You're a dirty little half-blood!" Kiera only smiled at the male wolf. Kiera released the jaguar and got up then promptly stood on her toes and got up in his face. Katie simply stayed on the floor watching the two wolves.

"If you really want to insult me you're going to have to do better than that Ryan. Oh and Ryan, if you're supposed to be the next Beta of this pack," Kiera paused. "Then act like it. Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal." Ryan bowed his head in respect.

"Good, now raise your head and tell me where Father is." Kiera shot Ryan a glare.

"He's in the office." The alpha nodded.

"See was that so hard?" She then turned to give the jaguar a hand to get up. "Coming Love?" Katie took her hand.

In front of the Office

"In we go!" Kiera was about to knock when Katie grabbed her arm.

"Kiera wait," Katie took in a deep breath and then spoke. "what if your father doesn't like me what do I do then? Do I not be accepted by the pack?! Or am I not going to be with you? Kiera I'm terrified." Kiera look a long look at the girl in front of her.

"Katie it's going to be alright I promise. And I don't see what you're so worked up over, I mean yeah it's Father but he won't hurt you. Not if I'm around." Kiera pressed her lips to the jaguar's. It was a light one but it felt like a butterfly had come and landed and given her a hug before taking off again.

"Alright let's go." Her voice much more sure of herself.

Pushing the doors open and walking into the large office the duo entered. In the center was a massive glass table where a pair of chairs sat on one side while on the opposite side sat Father's chair. Kiera was regularly pulled in for different matters, wither that be for the pack or if she had gotten into trouble at school.

"Ah Kiera so good of you to drop by." The desk chair turned around. "Who have you got with you? A Friend? No wait, you've marked her." The Alpha let out a sigh. "Kiera, what have I told you? You can't mate with another female and another species no less."

"Yes I remember but I've fallen for her and like it or not she is staying." Kiera pulled Katie behind her. "AND this female just happens to have a name. It's Katie." The jaguar froze when her name was spoken.

"Katie stop cowering behind my daughter." Father roared at the two girls. As not wanting to make the alpha any angrier, Katie did as she was told. "Now Kiera why won't you mate with Ryan he's a nice kid, and he's strong, caring and you would have a strong wolf by your side." Kiera rolled her eyes.

"All he wants is power and won't give a damn about me! That's why I won't date or mate him! Now will you approve her for acceptance or not?" Kiera gave her own father an icy glare.

"Huh your just like your mother. Yes, I grant her passage into the pack." Katie took a step back. The alpha just did a double take of his personality. Mean and aggressive to being a giant teddy bear.

"Now I congratulate you Ms. Katie for passing my test, I apologize for being so aggressive to you but that is what it takes to become a Phantom Wolf. Now run along you have much to see." With a wave of his hand both high school students left with the biggest of grins on their faces.

This is the end of Chapter six and chapter seven is in the works now so this is Jay signing off.
