Yokai Watch And Pokemon

(Level-5 owns Yokai watch, Bandai Namco owns Digimon and Nintendo and Gamefreak own Pokemon. I owns nothing.
Except this of course.)

Alright so I like yokai watch. Its a fun game and anime.

Basically it's about this boy named Nate Adams. He is given a watch that lets him see yokai. Elusive creatures from another world. They are based on folklore in Japan. Yokai or Youkai are mischievous creatures that cause trouble or scare people etc.

Now some of you are saying right now..."But flareon, this is a rip off of Pokemon. You capture monsters and battle and all kinds of stuff. It even rips off digimon
Which is a rip-off of Pokemon. You have aweful taste".

I know. But the game mechanics, the battle system, it's nothing like pokemon.

Pokemon is this.

See it's turn based.

This is Yokai watch.

It's not turn based. You see the wheel? You spin it and those are the Yokai in battle. They attack, use special and insprit. It does it on it's own. But it's hard because the opponents are also attacking and inspriting.

You should always be moving. To purify, to heal, to use the soultimate. You have to focus on everything. It's different than pokemon. A lot different.

And it's not a rip-off just because you capture. Your basically saying all of them seem the same.

YOU LOSER WITH YOUR PREJUDICE STATEMENTS! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! SHAME! SHAME ON THOU!

YOU PROBABLY THINK THESE LOOK THE SAME DONT YOU?!

If you do then....you are Half-right. They're all based off the kitsune. A Fox creature that breathes fire and live for long amounts of time. But you can see each has a different style therefore.... YOU ARE A JERK!

So they don't rip off each other. So now that you are Properly Informed, You don't need anymore facts.

Yes you do...YOU.......YOU..... POKE-PREJUDICE, YOKAI-RACIST, DIGIMON-DUMMY JERK FACE!

Sorry for such harsh language but it must be done.

Okay I don't know much about digimon so I can't defend as well. But it's about digital monsters. That can fuse. And Digi-evolve for like few minutes. There's stuff I'm missing but I can tell it's different.

Now the anime.

Now that we covered games, Anime.

In Yokai watch, there is no goal. It's Nate Adams finding Yokai. I'm gonna go over Nates character later...but all you need to know is he's average. He's not as heroic as Ash, he's average. He's more relatable. I like Ash more but Nate will always be a close second.

Yokai Watch is more "comedy based".

The episode is

A weird occurence happens like something is going missing or someone's acting weird.

It turns out to be a time Yokai's doing.

He uses the Yokai he's met to stop it. The episode usually ends with him befriending.

Just like pokemon right?

I'll give you some time to think.

Wrong!

Yokai have lives. They don't just stay with Nate forever.

He summons them with the Yokai Watch. And they don't necessarily have to do what he sais.

So yeah. These aren't ripping off of each other. And Digimon doesn't seem like it is.It's okay if you don't like it. It's just that some don't without even playing it or watching it.

So people just need to be more open to different games.

But if you played it, watched it and just don't like it...then your cool.👍

But if you think its a rip off.....I'm not stopping you. I'm simply stating my opinion in a loud manner to get the point across more clearly.

But Im sort of, kind of suggesting
that you play Yokai Watch. From one random nerd on the Internet to another.

(Sorry, I've been doing a lot of Pokemon things lately and it gets boring soooooo......Ash is battling Alain. That's nice. Okay bye)
