Miraculous Ladybug and Chat Noir One Shots.

Saving Paris- Ladynoir/ Adrienette

"Go! Get out of here Chat!" I yelled at him as the gaping hole roared its way closer to us, I watched as the eiffel tower was swallowed by the mouth.
"Chat you don't have much time left, get out of here! Go, save yourself!"
"I can't watch you die. Not again."
"again?"
"across a hundred lifetimes, you always sacrifice yourself to save me. Not this time. We're a team, we do this together or not at all." I stared at him as he extended his staff, he stabbed it deep into the ground and it's own crack began to spread. This was our last stand against Hawkmoth.
"Plagg told me what I have to do. This isn't how I intended to reveal my identity to you but it's our only choice. Plagg told me what our miraculous' do: mine gives me the ability to destroy and yours to create." the Arc de Triomphe collapsed as the ground beneath it was sucked into the growing pit. "That's why I have to give you my ring. Together they can give you godlike powers, that's why Hawk moth wants them." He took a step closer to me and I held my breath, the look in his eyes was of love and sacrifice, the wall I had built against his defenses crumbled like the ground beneath us.
"Chat..."
"shh Ladybug. It's the only way."
"Chat your powers, they destroyed me, I convinced myself I didn't love you but I'm so lost to you I can't do anything else."
"don't worry, you gave me a chance at a life I'd never dream I'd have. I love you with or without the mask, I love the courageous girl in red and black or whoever she is underneath." With that he slipped of his ring and pushed it onto my finger, I looked up from his hand holding mine and stared into the same green eyes I had on my walls.
"Adrien?" we didn't have time to talk about this as the crack finally reached us at the school steps. I pushed him behind me and stood there in my final stance, I didn't know how I would stop the hole from swallowing me and Paris but I had this feeling deep in my gut. I brought out my yoyo and raised the hand that held Chats ring and shouted into the pit what my heart was telling me.
"Cataclysmic Charm!"
This burst of white hot energy shot out of me and deep down into the Earth. I watched as it sank deeper and deeper until it was out of my sight completely. I thought it somehow hadn't worked and that my world was going to end before I had even begun to live, Hawk moth laughed above us thinking he was finally going to win. Then in a flash of blonde hair Adrien launched himself at him and knocked him into the chasm, Adrien fell with him and I screamed in terror. My world was falling around me and I was helpless to stop it, I threw my yoyo in hopes it would catch them but they were already too far from my reach. I watched in horror as the love of my life flew deeper down into the black pit. I felt like throwing myself after him when the white bolt shot back out with Adrien and Hawk moth riding it's energy. Once they were safely out the hole began to close and repair itself like magnets pulling together, it truly was a miraculous sight.
"You spoiled children!" I turned at the rasping voice of the enemy we had long fought and saw that his eyes burned with unadulterated wrath. "You should have just giving up your miraculous' and none of this would have happened!"
"if you hadn't been so power hungry none of this would've happened!"
Chat/Adrien was standing next to me shouting at our defeated enemy.
"can I have my ring back? I feel naked without it."
"sure thing." I tugged off the piece of jewelry and placed it in his outstretched palm. The police pulled up and raced from their cars, I guess whatever power I had released took care of everything. They slapped handcuffs on Hawkmoth's wrists and pulled him up from the ground. I caught the butterfly brooch at his neck and realized what it really was. "Wait a second!" the police men paused and let me remove his miraculous before shoving him in the back of the police cruiser.
"unbelievable." Adrien said as Hawkmoth's identity was revealed.
"What is?"
"that's my uncle! We thought he was dead!"
"Well I guess he fooled a lot of people." My earrings beeped and I panicked before I realized how pointless it was.
"Ladybug! Your earrings, hurry before you change back!" Adrien shouted as he pulled me toward the Parliament building, he closed the door behind us. "Oh um, I'll go upstairs so I don't see you." he began to walk away when I grabbed his wrist,
"No. Stay."
"are you sure?" I nodded my head yes and let myself detransform. Tikki shot out of my earrings and dropped into my hands, she was tired but okay.
"Wow Marinette that was a close save."
"Tikki?" a little black cat hovered just behind Adrien's head. His Kwami I guessed.
"Plagg!" Tikki bolted from my hands and tackled Plagg in an embrace midair.
"Guess they're happy to see each other after all these years." Adrien said as he watched them dance in the air.
"I'm guess so. Look Adrien, what you said back there as Chat-"
"don't worry about it, I meant every word." I collapsed against his lips without a moment's hesitation and after his initial shock wore off he kissed me back, his arms wrapped around my waist and I moved my hands from the collar of his shirt to his cheek.
"Finally! We've been waiting long enough for this!" Plagg exclaimed as he and Tikki floated back down to us.
"Oh stop it Plagg you know this is my favorite part." Tikki swatted his arm playfully and then turned her attention back to us. By now me and Adrien had released each other and started blushing furiously.
"Oh its so amazing that every reincarnation falls in love, it's just like us Plagg."
"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion, the way everyone was talking was very disorienting.
"Marinette I once told you that I was over 5000 years old and that I had served many Ladybugs in the past. What I couldn't tell you then was that you have lived as many lives as me, you are reborn each time and I find you the same way, I have always been yours. I've seen you in many different forms, many colors, many ages, even as a man, but each time you are always the same. Kind, giving, creative, witty, and selfless."
"Has Chat Noir been my partner in these past lives?"
"Of course! Creation and destruction go hand in hand. Now does anyone have Camembert?"
"Plagg always thinking about your stomach first." Adrien pulled out a wedge of cheese from his school bag, I guess he must have picked it up along the way. Plagg stuffed the whole thing in his mouth and continued speaking,
"That stuff is so tasty! As I was saying, Creation cannot exist without the destruction of something first, just as destruction needs something to demolish. You two have always worked together and at first Ladybug always puts her duty first, every life."
"That's why I stopped bothering you a few months ago, I knew you'd fall for me eventually." Adrien winked and I giggled at his flirtatious advance.
"I think your Chat is showing." he smiled and held my hand as we continued to hear about our history.
"Ladybug you are always so goal focused that you forget to feel with your heart, I was shocked when in this lifetime you actually had a crush on someone, let alone Chat's alter ego."
"You liked me first as Adrien? Why?"
"I thought you were so nice when you gave me that umbrella that day in the rain, the way you apologized and explained the gum incident was really special."
"huh. Is that why you never liked Chat Noir?"
"I was already in love with you, I didn't want to like two different people. Turns out they were the same guy all along." I smiled and Adrien kissed my cheek and I blushed a little harder.
"Chat and Ladybug are a team. Always have and always will be, you two need each other."
"I agree with that." Adrien said before he pulled me in for another kiss and this time I didn't care if we had an audience.
