I sat inside my car and watched Marinette as we pulled away from the curb, I had made a new friend. Plagg squirmed against my chest and I glanced over at Natalie to make sure she hadn't seen the movement. I had a life I would have only dreamt about a week ago, I was finally going to a normal highschool with other teenagers. I let my sigh escape as I leaned against the window and felt the cool glass press into my skin, I watched as we passed people huddled under umbrellas or running trying to avoid the drops that fell from the sky. I remembered the way my hand had touched hers as I gave her my umbrella, the way her eyes had gotten a little brighter, the way it collapsed and engulfed her. I laughed thinking about it. We pulled up infront of my mansion and I grabbed my bookbag and got out, I let the water drop against my face and I smiled, it had been so long since I had done this.

"Adrien get inside before you catch a cold!" Natalie yelled from the gate that separated me from the rest of the world. I walked inside and went up the stairs to my room, I thought about Ladybug, she was something I had never expected. She was incredible, fearless, selfless, and she was a hero for the people of Paris. I sat at my desktop and moved the mouse to wake up the sleeping device, my mother's picture brightened the screen and I took a deep breath. I went online and looked for anything about Ladybug or 'miraculouses'. My search on the new hero was far more successful than any article I looked at about the jewel I now possessed. I already knew that Plagg wouldn't be helpful, in fact I wondered where he had vanished to. I looked around my room and couldn't find him, I searched under the pillows on my couch, looked in my mini fridge. Nothing. I stood up and called for him.

"Plagg?" My question was met with silence. Where was he? I knew he couldn't have gone far, not with the fact that I needed him if Paris was ever in danger again. I thought about how Stoneheart had come back after we thought we had defeated him. If something like that ever happened and I couldn't find Plagg, Ladybug would be on her own. I really didn't like the idea of her fighting an enemy on her own. I fell onto my bed and stared up at the ceiling wondering if this was how it was going to be for the rest of the school year. I didn't have a problem with the homework or saving the day but I was more worried about the growing feelings I had for Ladybug. I thought about who she might be, I didn't think I knew her, then again I didn't know that many people. She was a girl with a plan. She was shy at first but once she got that boost of confidence it was like something strong in her broke out of its cage, she was a natural heroine. I loved the way she always had a plan. I sighed and turned on my side, Plagg was still absent so I curled up and decided to take a nap, I didn't normally take naps but I was exhausted from my fight with Stoneheart.

I saw her face in my dreams, I saw the way her eyes looked at me when I did something selfless. I woke up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. I had been thinking about her non stop for the last several weeks. She was amazing whenever she figured out how to use the item from her lucky charm, she was a hotspot of creativity. I sat up and swung my feet over the edge of my bed, I wiggled my toes in the thick strands from my rug. I stretched my arms high above my head and yawned into the empty room. I looked around for any sign of Plagg and found him nestled on the couch next to a wheel of camembert that was mostly gone, it was seriously disgusting that he only ate the smelly old cheese. I was glad it was a Saturday and I could stay home most of the day, I pulled up videos and any pictures of Ladybug I could find and looked at them as if I was performing an investigation. I memorized the color of her eyes and committed her lips to the deepest parts of my heart, I already loved her. This was my first crush and I was determined to make it last.
