Miraculous Ladybug and Chat Noir One Shots.

Wings of Hope

This isn't really a story for the love square, more so an idea I had for what happens after Ladybug and Chat Noir defeat the akuma and it goes on its merry way.

The fight had gone smoothly, and we watched as the white butterfly flitted off into the clouds escaping from our view, we always hoped that wherever they went they did something good.

I watched the world below as I flapped my wings to take me higher into the sky so no one peering up at the clouds would notice as I worked my way through Paris, I had been used by a man with nefarious purposes, so I like all my brethren before looked for something to do to absolve our sins. Nothing short of a miracle, we could help a little girl who was crying or even fix a crack in the sidewalk. We would die after doing something good in most cases as that was the nature of our short lives but we were willing to do it if that's what it took to repair some of the evil done by this "Hawkmoth".

I could feel strong emotions all around me, that was our gift, to find someone with the right combination of thoughts and feelings to transform into a superhero or villain as Nooroo's host was doing. We could sense the deep pain that was inflicted in Hawkmoth's heart, it grew bitter with each passing lost battle between him and Ladybug. That girl had the perfect heart, full of hope and kindness, even in her darkest moments where one of us had been sent to turn her evil we would always be cast aside at the last second as she regained her senses. I wished for Nooroo to be free one day and that the pain living inside of his host would find a peaceful resolution, for all of Paris' sake.

Below I heard the morose cries of a young child, that was my cue, I dipped lower and watched a young boy cry over losing his lollipop to the dirt of the sandbox. His mother was doing her best to hug him and tell him everything would be okay but it was doing nothing, I was drawn to his little broken heart. My soft feet landed on his nose and I gave him a small kiss and his tears dried on his face, a little bit of happiness washing over his eyes before he realized it wasn't the end of the world and my purpose was completed giving me freedom to evaporate in a little puff of white light.
