SYNOPSIS

Humans make plans, but God laughs at them. Isn't that how the saying always goes?

Well, in the case of 18 year old Knoxville Westenra, the saying above has never been any truer.

For the son and future alpha for the Shallow Pond pack, the largest and the most powerful wolf pack in the city of Portland, Oregon, he has always thought that his mate would be a lovely girl who would complete him and help him become the leader that he has always meant to be. In his mind he has already planned on how his mate-claiming ceremony would go when he finally finds and accepts his mate.

But the Great Spirit known as the Moon Goddess has a different plan for him. Here lies one of the problems. Through Goddess Rainbow, Goddess of Love, Family, and Fertility, his mate he has been waiting all his life is not whom at all he had in mind. As his future would have it, the Goddess Rainbow has made a boy named Kelly Von Huben who is also his pack member his mate for life!

What are they to do with this revelation? Should Knox and Kelly explore what lied between them? What does the Great Spirit have in store for the both of them? More importantly, why does the the Goddess Rainbow match the the both of them as mates in the first place?

For some reason, to Knox, his mate Kelly is not who he is. There seems to be more than meets the eyes. Who really is Kelly? Or rather, what exactly is he? And what the hell is actually going on? Also, what is with 'The Prophecy' that everybody is yet to know? Secrets and unknowns just seem to be abundant here.

Follow the journey of self-discovery for the boys, their families and friends as they all navigate their lives, whether they are in high school, their daily lives in their packs, and their lives living in the self-proclaimed greenest city in America.
