“Kelly, are you going or not?” asked Rhydian. Understanding that this whole thing would be a joke worried Kelly tremendously. It doesn't matter that Rhydian had sounded honest last time they talked, this whole thing was so just out his comfort zone. But as the saying goes ‘curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back’, Kelly couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to know the truth. Funny enough, just the thought of it made his member throbbing against his tight jeans.

He shifted, trying to ease the pressure, but no matter what he did, some discomfort still lingered. “I might,” he answered. “No promises.”

“Great! It’ll start in about an hour,” Rhydian replied immediately. “But it won’t get busy for probably another hour or so after that. You can get yourself comfortable before there’s a crowd if you come early though. See you there!”

Kelly placed the phone on his bedside table after the phone call had ended. Okay. If he was nervous and fidgeting before, now he was a wreck not knowing what to expect when the time comes. He was too tired and restless to jerk himself off, and the idea of that intrigued him, even if he wasn't sure if Rhydian had told him the truth. One way or another, he needed release. Before midnight tonight one way or another he had to get over with the ‘adventure’ if he were to settle down with one and one person only that was to be his mate. Deep down he was hoping that his mate would be a guy, a gay guy, but if the Goddess Rainbow and the Great Spirit that is the Moon Goddess decided to pair him up with a girl, he wouldn't complain, okay maybe just a little bit, but he would love his mate no matter what. He just had to.

Looking at the clock on the wall, it was already ten past seven. He couldn't even down his dinner tonight because he was too excited and at the same time too petrified about it. Not only about the ‘adventure’ he should be having soon, it was also the fact that he might find his mate when the midnight comes. The idea of having a mate out there just for him made him happy, if not terrifying. Granted that the reason he and Rhydian had to break up because of the chance that he might find his mate months ago, but he still hadn't. Kelly on the other hand might find his better half tonight; he knew his mate was close. So close, if the scent he’d smelled this afternoon at school was of any indication.
