Hi again! Just want to give shout-outs to direfaery, GreysAnatomyForever, and iam_insomniac for taking their time to leave comments on the previous chapter. I super appreciate those. So, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy this chapter. It's not much, but I've decided to break up this one chapter into two, or it would've been a long one. So the next part is going to be my sort of motivation to edit and post the next chapter to 'UNEXPECTED BLESSINGS OF LOVE' which is my first story. After that one has been uploaded, I'll upload the next chapter of this story, and then on to 'BOARDING BOYS'. Muahahaha. I know I'm evil that way. Unless I cave in, then the point to this whole thing is moot!

If he were to be honest with himself, yes, Knox felt like shit for having done what he did to his new-found mate. It’s not that he wanted to, but he had to. Or else, how could he pass on his alpha gene to his offspring, huh? How else would his pack grow? More importantly to him this just didn't make any sense. Why would Goddess Rainbow pair him up with a dude, and Kelly Von Huben at that no less? This seriously messed him up, no, both of them up.

Knox knew he had to walk away. It was hard for him to just stand there to witness his brokenhearted mate falling apart in his presence. But his reasons were not without merit. He knew that and understood that, and now all he could hope was that his unfortunate mate would accept that. Goddess, he just felt like punching somebody to a bloody pulp, and if anybody were to mess with him right now, he would do so without pulling back any punches and with any regret whatsoever.

People now with careful eyes were watching him attentively. He had to ignore it as with his super-hearing he could now hear how words had traveled fast that the future Alpha had a male as a mate and that he had blatantly and ruthlessly rejected him, and that he didn't care about his mate’s feelings, and blah blah blah. Knox could hear as well how people were laughing and snickering at his expense, but more so than not he could hear how distasteful and wretched people’s feelings were towards him for what he had done to the oh so sweet and gentle Kelly. Funnily even the humans that saw what had happened were now speculating that he and Kelly had been dating on the down low but finally had come to his senses that he wasn't gay after all and had to humiliate Kelly to preserve his reputation as the top dog in school. Knox had to just swallow all that and chuckled lightly. It was eerie sometimes to think about how human minds work, but Knox could care less what everybody thought about him, because today was not the day for people to mess with him if they all value their lives.

Nevertheless, seriously though. Everybody in his pack knew that Kelly wasn't even a real and full werewolf since he didn't shift into wolf form after birth; meaning Kelly didn't have a wolf form to shift into. That was no secret; everybody in his pack knew about that. It didn't matter that Kelly has wolfblood in him; to be a real werewolf one has to be able to shift into their wolf. That is easy enough to understand. So, why would these people care so much about the boy? Why did people sympathize with Kelly, and not him? After all, he was going to be their Alpha after their father had stepped down and retired. That was something he just couldn't understand.

Now that he’d reached his locker, Knox opened it so strongly that some people that were standing by and next to his locker were scampering, scared of him. Yes. Knox knew how people were scared of him, but there was nothing he could do about that. After all, for those that knew him or about him, they knew full well that he was the future leader of Shallow Pond wolf pack, and he’d be damned to lose his rightful place, all because he’d mated to a male? And to Kelly at that?! Nah, he wouldn't take that chance even if he could. Goddess Rainbow has a really weird sense of humor, Knox thought to himself.
