There's a story that doesn't have a once upon a time. It doesn't follow the typical fairytale style. But then again it doesn't have to look like a fairy tale to feel like one.
It's a story about the struggle of a girl, in love with a guy who can't even look her way, cause he's too busy looking at someone else. So your normal cliche, you could say.
But what happens when prince charming finally looks away from the wicked witch, and notices Cinderella.
She gets swept up in this dream come true, that she doesn't notice how the poison apple has effect, and it's all the witches doing.
But what hurt her most was how when the was held in front of her and the truth was revealed how easy it was for the him to show his true colors. To undo the spell even though it's not midnight, to drop the slipper and leave her there to clean up the pieces of her broken heart like the maid she was never meant to be.
To tear the fairytale apart, make it seem fake. But with this we learn that not every princess gets a fairytale ending. As hard as it is to believe.
But what's even harder to believe is that even with a broken slipper she still finds a way to get up and walk as if it never happened.
Cause it's to fake a smile when you've been doing for for a while.
