The Show

It was near the end of the show, Josh and Tyler were unexplainably happy as they finished their covers of the music, it was now time for Guns for Hands. Kate and Gabby sat near Stage B singing together as they clapped their hands together swaying back and forth, Gabby was a bit excited to see Tyler crowd surfing and see him go into the hamster ball. Kate was sitting next to Jordan Dun and was a bit nervous, she was so close to Josh's family and anything she did wrong could result in them Disliking her for any amount of reasons. Tyler began to sing and Gabby hummed the words and grinned, whereas Kate was now a bit nervous to sing since she didn't feel like she had the best concert-singing-voice. She felt a tap on the side of her shoulder and she felt goosebumps arise on her skin once she realized it was Jordan.
"Are you proud of Josh?" He asked running his hands through his hair, he was yelling a bit since it was loud so that kinda made her embarrassed. She had to think a bit, she was proud of Josh that was the easy part, but was she supposed to explain why? She escaped herself from those thoughts and decided to just be herself.
"Yeah of course, I remember when he was just playing in the music store and to now see him playing here, it's amazing." She yelled back to him so he could hear her clearly, she was a bit proud of her answer since she just spoke from the heart. Jordan nodded his head and smiled and went back to listening, but Kate grinned and went back to watch Josh and Tyler enjoy themselves.

Gabby was standing up and clapping her hands and screaming as if she was being taken over by Satan but she didn't mind if everyone was staring at her, she then saw the red glare of the ball and smacked Kate. "He's about to go in!" She screeched yanking Kate up so she could see Tyler go in, but then she saw Josh crawl in. "This is bullshit, I wanted to see Tyler in it." She crossed her arm as Kate clapped her hands as she saw Josh go in, too bad she wouldn't be able to lift him up. But then again she gets to touch him at anytime out of a rubber hamster ball with his shirt off too. "Hey, you have gotten to see Tyler last time in it, it's my turn." She rolled her eyes as she gave out a chuckle. Gabby then felt a tap on her shoulder, she whipped her head to left to see Tyler's mom smiling at her as if she wanted to engage in conversation. Gabby looked around and pointed her thumb at her chest mouthing a "Me?". His mother gave out a chuckle and nodded her head, Kate had her phone out and was recording Josh, so she decided Kate wouldn't mind if she walked away from her for awhile. Gabby quickly walked over to where Tyler's mom was so she wouldn't get in anyone's way. Gabby put on a smile and waved to her hopefully mother-in-law, thankfully the woman responded back with a wave. She patted an empty concert seat next to her and gabby took it, she hoped it was going to be a positive talk.

"So! What do you think of all this?" The mother yelled nodding her head towards Josh and Tyler. Gabby grinned and gave out a chuckle. "I am extremely proud, the little dork finally got his dream." She said rubbing her cheek thinking back to their days at summer camp where he was just starting his music. His mom grinned and looked pretty pleased.

They talked till the end of Guns For Hands, speaking about Tyler when he was younger and how Tyler talked about Gabby when they first started dating. It made Gabby pretty happy, it also made her very confident that Tyler will ask her to marry him. "You can head back to your friend now, she looks pretty confused on where you went." His mother gave out a chuckle as she Pointed at Kate, Kate was looking around frantically as if she saw a fly or was missing something, either way it was probably true. Gabby said her goodbyes and walked back to Kate, her friend looked her up and down and looked back to where she came from. "How were you so confident, I got nervous talking to his brother." Kate's cheeks turned a bright red from embarrassment. "You doubt yourself too much." Gabby rolled her eyes and sat back in her seat enjoying the view of her lover singing happily. Then Gabby realized it was time for Tear in my Heart, her song. She felt her heartbeat pick up, she couldn't wait to hear him sing it. No matter how many times she had it on repeat when she was feeling lonely and even had him sing it for her a million times. It just had that special place in her heart, next to polarize of course.

"Wait wait." Tyler's voice echoed throughout the concert, everyone becoming quiet. Josh tapped a small tune on his drums and Kate swore she saw Josh flash a grin at Tyler. "Everybody knows who this song is about, right?" Everyone screamed back even Gabby who even screeched her lungs out. Everyone started to clap their hands in rhythm, Tyler shushed them down and began to speak again. "Well, will that special someone come up?" A grin spread on his face as everyone turned towards where Gabby was. Kate clapped her hands and shoved her up while Kate pushed her up. Gabby looked at Kate and gave out a nervous chuckle. Everyone started to cheer as Gabby followed the security up to the stage. She caught Tyler staring at her the whole way there, a wide grin on his face. As she hopped on stage everyone started to scream, she could feel her heart pound against her chest as Tyler planted a kiss on her lips, a smile spreading across their lips. "Gabriela Tessier." He said into the mic, Gabby nodded her head. Tyler usually called her Gabby, so she was a bit confused on what was going on. "Now, I know I'm a huge nerd and I can get pretty sad." He spoke as he slipped his hand into hers. "The first part is an understatement." She said into his Mic as everyone screeched and Tyler just chuckled, Gabby was trying to keep calm but she was unexplainably happy. "Well, Ms. Tessier. These past 6 years have been wonderful..." Gabby raised her eyebrows and looked frantically around, she didn't want to jump to conclusion but she was pretty sure that usually guys say that when proposing. "And I never want to trade those memories..." Tyler got down on one knee, screams could be heard from the crowd. Gabby almost screamed herself, she was clutching onto his hand madly and was shaking from happiness. "Gabriela Tessier, will you do the honors of.. Being Gabriela Joseph?" He pulled a ring box from his back pocket of his skinny jeans. Screams could be heard from the crowd and Gabby was one of them.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" She squealed as Tyler slipped the ring on her finger, Tyler quickly stood up and lifted gabby to where they were twirling in a hug. Gabby had to admit; she was crying. But from happiness of course, she dreamed of this day happening. She glanced over at Josh who seemed to be grinning happily. She peeked over her shoulder to see everyone one of her friends and family of both Tyler and herself running up on stage. She didn't care though, she just enjoyed being embraced in a hug from Tyler. She planted a kiss on his lips as he put her down. Josh got up from his drums and went to where everyone was gathering around them, his arm wrapped around Kate's waist as she gave a thumbs up to Gabby. "Now back to the song." The singer grinned as he grabbed the mic, everyone started singing along with him, even Josh. As the chorus started everyone started to bounce around on stage, giving Gabby hugs and congrats.

This was a dream for her.

  As the show ended, the couples stayed after. Taking pictures with the fans who stayed after to sneak a picture, they didn't mind it. But once all the fans left, it was just the friends and family of twenty øne piløts sat on the confetti floor. Gabby's head was rested on Tyler's shoulder as she played with a piece of confetti between her fingers. "We did it." Tyler said softly, petting her back as his parents grinned at him and nodded. Gabby's family talking to the family of Tyler and the workers. Kate and Josh were playing with the snapchat filters as they yelled "We did it!" Kate was probably going to post it on her story just to be cute. But Gabby took her phone from her pocket and snapped a picture of her ring, adding a heart as a caption. Tyler looked at her phone while it was being taken, a small grin on his face. He couldn't believe he was going to marry her. She was just the right person for him, he couldn't get over that fact.

"Now let's go show off that ring."
