I was furious that Devin came over and tried to persuade me like that. What is wrong with him? How can he just act like these past two years never happened. Like it didn't exist... How? HOW? these thoughts were running through my head as i paced back and forth in my bedroom. I needed to get my mind off of it i grabbed my phone and called up my bestfriend Melissa and asked if we could meet at Dunkin Donuts for brunch. Since, i don't have a car sadly, i had to walk but it wasn't that far just a good 4 blocks away.

When I finally got to Dunkin i stood outside waiting for Melissa. I see her pull up in the parking lot and i run as fast as i can to her car. I gave her the biggest hug and even shed a little tear cause I haven't seen her all summer due to the fact that she was over her grandparents house. "Visiting" they said.
"Melissa Biiittccchhh omfg i missed yo ugly ass" "I knew you missed me babe" we hugged for a good 30 seconds until another car pulled up and honked their horn at us telling us to move. We walked into Dunkin together and guess who we see.... Daniel mother fucking got damn shit dawg fuck Veda! Including his two "wingmen" Devin and Kevin. Me remembering the tragedy that happened earlier I forgot to lace Melissa up. "Maybe we should just go grab a seat and wait till they leave to order" I whispered into Melissa's ear. "I forgot to tell you what happened earlier" "Okay i guess?" she said in a questioned tone. We grabbed a seat at a two seater table and i laced her up.

"Are you freaking serious Jordan?!, You didnt even give the kid a chance to talk!, You didn't know what he wanted to tell you!" "Melissa we are talking about Devin! the Devin Gordon, have you forgotten what the hell he put me through?!" "Look Jordan, all im saying is that you shouldn't have shoved him away like that. I mean like put yourself in his position? you wouldn't have liked the way you treated yourself either.!" I looked in the corner of my eye and see Devin walk towards us i guess he over heard us talking about him.
"Umm... Hey... Jordan.... I really didn't mean to-" I cut him off. " No Devin..., it was my fault I'm sorry I should've listened to what you had to say instead of treating you like that." "Well ... You just kind of did it again but.." I guess i really do have a cutting off problem... welp😂. " So can we talk now?" Devin says in a gentle tone. "Look I'll leave you two here to chit-chat while i go order our food." "Well.. Take a seat..." "Nah look here (air quotation) "Jordan" I was going to talk to you about something very personal earlier but since you did that oh... baby its on tomorrow better hope we don't run into you." He says with a smirk on his face. "See ya tomorrow babygirl."
