Dead and Gone...

I woke up in a house I've never been in. The room was completely new looking... I got up and seen a bag that had been packed for me. Where was I? What happened?! Did last night really happen? I was confused, lonely, and weary, from everything that had been going on. It was a knock on the door

"Hey Jordan you up?"

"Yeah..." Eli and Jai entered the room.

"What happened? what did your mom say on the phone? You passed out.."

"That wasn't my mom.... MY MOM! NO I HAVE FIND HER!"

"Jordan what do you mean find her?!" Jai looked at me and started to tear up a bit.

"She was taken I don't even know by who or what they even want with us!"

"Well what do we do we need to call the police an tell dad asap" Eli said walking towards to door,

"NO STOP!"

"What why?! This is a serious issue Jordan!"

"They said no one can know if we tell the cops they kill my mom...." I said looking down letting a tear roll down my face.

"Oh My God Jordan! How do we get her back?!" Jai exclaimed.

"I don't know... They just said I needed to "Play a game""

"Play a game??? Really?!" Jai said questionably.

"Yes , hand me my phone i'm calling again to see what they want.."

Jai handed me my phone and I called my mom.

"You've decided to play the game huh?"

"Give me my mom back you bitch!" I yelled at the person on the phone.

" Ahh, AHhh, AHhh... don't you use that tone... First part of the game is clues... Find the first clue at your house... Think really hard babygirl you got 30 minutes to figure out the clue ... Come alone or she will die..." They hung up the phone...

"Dammit..." I called Kevin, Daniel, and Tammy neither one of them answered... I forgot about school....

"What did they say?!" Jai asked. I repeated everything they said specifically.

"We would love to help but... I can't interfere with your moms life...." Eli added.

"It's okay y'all go to school i'll see y'all later tell them for me..."

"We gotchu sis..." We all hugged and everybody left... Wait I have no idea where I am.. shit. I typed my address in maps and it was a 10 minute walk. Got damn I ran instead... I arrived at my house and unlocked the door. My house was a mess... I looked careful under things, behind, everywhere and i just couldn't figure it out. But then, I noticed something about how everything was trashed... I walked upstairs and looked down from the rail. It was a word... The way the trash was set up it spelled out something. It said "MONEY"... Money? What money and how much? They took my mom over some damn money?! I called my mom's phone....
"I got it.... Its money... What the hell money has got to due with this?!"

"Owhh mommy didn't tell you what she did huh?"

"What are you talking about?! Mom what did you do?!!" I said yelling through the phone.

"Why don't we let mommy tell you her dirty secrets herself..." I heard the person chuckle in one of those joker laughs. I heard weeping in the background.

"Mommy are you okay? What happened?! WHAT DID YOU DO??!!!!"

"Tell her... Mommy..."

"Mommy?! What do you mean Mommy?!!! You have another child?!"

"Yes..." My heart dropped. Why didn't she tell me? I was confused... another child... that she hid from me all these years... I've been lonely and had another sibling this entire time.... I broke ou in tears.

"Why, Why didn't you tell me?"

"Look Jordan he's too violent to be around I didn't want him... or your father in your life. Your father and brother kills people for a living... and I didn't pay them for the last three months to stay way from you and-..."

I cut her off...

"Pay?!! To stay away from me?! Mom! This is my family!!! How could you?" I started crying even more. Me thinking my father was dead like she told me and he's been alive this whole time.... and I have another sibling.

"They wouldn't have hurt me mom! You're the only one who hurt me..."

"SHUT UP! Enough chit chat and crying... Where's the money?"

"What money?! There's no money!"

"The money she owes us... If you don't get it here within 24 hours she's dead... "

Dead? My mom... ?

"I'm not getting this money fuck y'all kill her and yall selves!" I exclaimed.
