relax - josh

I had a hard day, to say the least. Nothing was just going my way, and I was extremely stressed and worn out. I just wanted to go home and cry. I was getting in the car to drive home and as I sat down, I couldn't help but burst into tears, letting the emotions from today release.

I felt my pocket vibrate and I took out my phone, to see Josh was calling me.
"Hey baby." He spoke into the phone.
I tried to sound as normal as possible, not wanting him to know I just completely broke down in tears seconds before.

"Hello." I choked back tears.

"How was work?" He questioned. I sighed. Maybe I should just vent to him. More tears flowed out as I talked about my horrible day.

"Oh baby, I'm so sorry. It'll be okay, I love you so much. I've gotta go now, just calm down a bit, okay? I'll see you soon, love." He soothed through the phone and hung up after I said goodbye.

I rested my head on the steering wheel as I took a few deep breaths. I started the car up and drove home. I was so relieved to have arrived at our house, to be away from the stressful environment of work. I hopped out of the car and unlocked the door to the house and dropped my stuff on the floor and sighed heavily.

"Babe? Is that you?" I heard Josh call from somewhere in the house.
I let out a quiet "yeah" and trudged to where Josh was. As soon as he saw me he pulled me into a tight hug as he kissed me on the forehead. I rested my head on his chest and he played with my hair, soothing me.

"C'mon, come to the bathroom. I've got something for you." He led me to the bathroom where it was dark, the only light source being the candles on the sides of the bath. He had gone to the effort of making bubbles and putting rose petals in the water. I smiled, tears forming in my eyes.

"You did this for me?" I asked happily. He nodded.
"Of course, baby. I know you had a hard day today and I wanted to try and help you, I just want you to relax now." I tiredly smiled up at him.

I pulled his neck down so I could kiss him. He held me tighter by my waist and I tugged at his hair. The kiss grew more heated and passionate. "Jump." He growled. He lifted me up and cupped my thighs. He walked me over to the bench in the bathroom and sat me down carefully. He stood back and grinned at me. I whined at the loss of his touch and gave him the puppy dog eyes.

"Not now, you need to relax." He shook his head. I pouted and decided to agree with him. He came closer to me and peeled off my shirt, as well as my other clothing items. He picked me up by my thighs again and gently placed me down in the warm water, calming me down immediately. I closed my eyes and rested my head on the edge of the bath.

"This is nice." I exhaled. "Thank you for this Josh, I love you."

"Just relax, baby. I love you too." He placed a kiss on the side of my head and stood up. "Just let me know when you're finished and I'll come help you into bed and make you some hot chocolate. Does that sound good?"

I gave him a soft smile and a nod. "I would love that, thank you." He gave me a lopsided grin and walked out of the bathroom, leaving me to relax.
