What Lies Ahead [Mako Mermaids]

Day 6

Ella's POV

I was the first awake his morning because I always worked out in the mornings. My typical routine was to wake up, get changed and ready, go downstairs, eat a light breakfast and make some iced tea and go for a run. However this didn't exactly happen...

As I walked down the stairs, lights went out. but only the ones in the kitchen. it was weird. I turned them back on and saw all five boys staring at me.

"Where are you going?" Max asked me saucily.

"Oh so it's my job to tell you everything now? ain't gonna happen cupcake." I replied and walked to he fridge but Jacob closed it on my face.

"Tell me what your hiding in that pretty little brain of yours." he demanded.

"No! I do not have to be pressured into sharing something that I am quite uncomfortable with sharing! So go back to bed and die there will you?" I screamed. I'm pretty sure everyone was awake now.

"Ella what he hell is going on?" Tia mind messaged me.

"Oh just five little rotten boys picking at our big secret!" I replied angrily

"Okay E calm your shit I'll be down in a sec."

"Kay thanks Tia. Your a lifesaver"

I immediately change my focus to the stairs to see an angry Tia stomping out of her room.

"BOYS!" She screamed running down the stairs. Chase and Luke ran for the patio door while Jacob, Max and Kyle ran for the front door. She shook her head and used her powers to lock the doors. We all heard the click so they came back to the kitchen as I joined Tia on the stairs.

"What do you thinks out all are doing up at 5:45 in The MORNING?! You know some of us like to sleep or go for a run, not to mention Ella here who wakes up more than three hours ahead of everyone else so she can do her workouts! You know what. We need a break from all of this for the day." Tia said while sitting on the stairs due to exhaustion.

"Listen I need to go to the mall to get some new clothes because Hollister is having a crazy sale but you all should come. After you rest you know." I added.

"Sure sounds fun!" Kyle said.

"Perfect, but no pranks please. It could be a rest day for all of us..."

"I guess a few days off every now and again wouldn't hurt" Max admitted.

I smiled and sent them off to bed once again. Finally some peace for my workout.

I went off to my basement content that our secret has been kept from another attack once again.

About three hours later I went upstairs to see if everyone was up and surprisingly they were. I changed my clothes, grabbed a bagel and headed out to the mall.

Since I was the oldest I drove my team to the mall while Max drove the others. The seating went like this...

Tia Lucy | Chase Jacob Luke

Rey Ella | Kyle. Max

We basically raced eachother to the mall because I have to say, are quite competitive.

As we won against the boys, we parked in the back of the parking lot. The boys parked alongside of us and we decided to go to the Jamba Juice. We all got lunch and sat down at a table near Abercrombie & Fitch. Since there was a mega sale on, Lucy and Rey didn't stay for long.

"Why do girls love shopping so much?" Kyle asked me.

"Uh we want to impress guys. You know, who actually care" I stated. Tia laughed and gave me a highfive under the table.

"Uh I'm gonna go check on Lucy and Ella. They've been shopping in there for like an hour." Tia said. I nodded at her as she motioned for me to come. As I started to catch up to her, I seen Lucy and Rey walking out with both arms full of shopping bags.

"Uh you buy some for us?" Tia asked.

"Nope!" Rey said as I seen Kyle sneak up behind Tia.

I went to shout but someone covered my mouth. I then had to watch Tia suffer the cold juice running down we back.

I elbowed whoever was covering my mouth in the stomach and ran over to help Tia run away. Which to no surprise was quite a struggle.

"TEN. NINE. EIGHT" Rey mind shouted at us.

I grabbed Tia's arm and pulled her towards the washrooms.

"SEVEN. SIX." Rey continued to shout.

We found a family stall and ran inside. I locked the door.

"ELLA! TIA!" Rey and Lucy shouted from outside.

Oh shit I locked then out.

I quickly unlocked the door and pulled them inside.

"Two. Tail!" Rey said aloud.

All of a sudden, Tia fell on the floor with her tail.

We helped to steam dry her as we complained about the lame prank the boys pulled.

"I can't believe they pulled one of the most stupid pranks in this universe." Tia said as she regained her legs.

We all agreed on this fact.

"What next?" 

"How about we call Mimmi, Ondina and Weilan. They might have a suggestion..." Rey suggested

"KayKay" I said pulling out my phone.

I opened skype and hit Weilan. It rang about four or five times and then we finally connected/

"Ah Weila-" I said as it showed me  a photo of Zac. "Oh Zac! Why are you answering Weilan's phone?" 

"Ah the girls are gone for a swim. They gave me their phones and I was so not looking through Weilan's phone...." he replied.

We all laughed at the fact that he was a terrible liar but then cut to the chase.

"Zac we have a serious question." Tia said taking the phone out of my hand.

"Shoot." He said as he took food from the waiter. 

"Okay so we are in a prank war at the moment and we think its gonna last for like a month. So were at the mall currently locked in the stall." Tia said

"TIA" Rey and I shouted.

"Okay. So they just spilled ice cold juice down my back and we have nothing god to pull back at them." she continued

"I wouldn't." was his reply

"I'm sorry what now?"

"Just dont prank back. Its that lame that for me doing nothing is a much better move."

"ZAC!" I heard Weilan yell in the distance.

"Gotta go bye!" he said and hung up quickly.

We all laughed and left the bathroom.

The boys were waiting in line for Ben&Jerry's because we took so long that they got hungry again. We hopped in line with them and all got an ice cream. We went outside and sat in our cars and ate our ice cream.

So our mall trip wasn't the best shopping excursion, but there will be more. Eventually...

I was thinking like a Victorious x Spy book. Of course the main character would be Cat because I love Cat but leave comments down below!
