Loki's POV

If I said I wasn't scared of Perseus Jackson, I would most definitely be lying. See, I know he is way more powerful than anyone in this tower. Believe me, did you see the way he messed up Gaea? 

I visibly gulped. 

"My one reason? I don't have one, but he does," I said, pointing at the boys father. 

Perseus glanced in the direction of my finger and fell to the floor. Jumping up, he glared at his father. This is when Perseus went from scary, to full-blown horror movie.  

"What do you want?" He said in the calmest voice possible. Even his father had a bit of fear of his son. 

"Percy, we know the wish you requested but–" His father was cut off. 

"But what father? But Zeus needs me to do more work for him? That he has no one to turn to because, oh, because maybe they are all six feet under ground!" Perseus hissed as he slowly walked toward his father. 

His father flinched.

"Look things are bad back at home. They need you and Zeus–" He was interrupted again.  

"Let me straighten out your bent wire here. I will not go back. There is Malcom. The friggin' spitting image of her! There are all the people that will look at me like I'm a freak after what I did! And I could give a rat's–"

"Language!" Steve shouted at Percy.

"About what my uncle wants! I will not go back and I will not partake in any more wars. I unwillingly sacrificed everything so you and all the other could continue on with your lives! The moment which I ask for the one thing I deserve, I'm sucked out of it because you have no one to do your work. Leave me alone like you promised!" Perseus was at a whisper. 

His father nodded and in a snap, the room smelled like the ocean.
