I woke up to my alarm and quickly turned it off before William wakes up. Last time he got home late and woke up too my alarm he gave me the black eye that I have now, but I told everyone I ran into a wall late at night.
William is the beta of the blood moon pack and best friend of Brayden, the alpha, so if anyone tells the alpha what he is doing he will be sent to the dungeons and be beaten or worse.
I ran to the closet and grabbed a sweatshirt and sweatpants and went to the bathroom in the guest room. I didn't want to risk being to loud. I took a quick shower and did my make up. After that I practically sprinted downstairs to start making breakfast. It was around 6:45 so William should be waking up soon. I made him and egg and cheese omelet and some bacon then I made his coffee.
"Is my breakfast done?" he was screaming from the top of the stairs.
"Yes William" I answered back.
"Good" he came downstairs and sat down. But as soon as he started eating there was a knock on the door. It was Alpha Brayden. William's best friend. I went to the door and opened it with a smile. Unlike William Brayden was sweet and nice.
"Hello Lexi" he was smiling like always and gave me a quick kiss on the check which made William growl. Which was obviously fake because he doesn't care if a man kisses me, looks at me, or touches me. But hey it's not like anyone cares or anything.
"Hey Brayden" he was one of the few people who could make me smile. One because he is the alpha and could make William beg on his knees for anything and second he is a very cheerful person.
"Sup" William said while still shoving food into his mouth. It was a good thing we made more than one omelet.
I want to go shopping. Samantha, my best friend, mine linked me.
"William, Samantha wants to go shopping today. Can I?" I knew since Brayden was here he would say yes.
"Sure babe" he said with a fake smile. I got to admit he was getting pretty good at the voice that says 'I'm happy and in love' didn't think he could do it. Surprise.
"Okay bye" I quickly left so he couldn't say anything. I got into my car and drove to the mall.
Once I got there I saw my best friend and smiled like I haven't seen her in years.
"Hey!" we said in sync and ran to each other into a giant hug like we haven't seen each other in years.
"I missed you sooooooo much" Sammy is like a sister to me. We have been best friends since she moved into our old pack. But once I found William she came with me to Blood Moon pack before she was even old enough to find her mate.
"I missed you too Sammy" we hugged again and went to the ice cream shop.
"Well after this you want to go shopping?" If there is one this Sammy loves its shopping.
"Okay, but which store?" I said as I shoved another spoonful of ice cream into my mouth.
"Well there's always that new one" she has wanted to go there for the longest time.
"Okay" I want to spend all day with here because I don't want to go back home yet.
"Sammy! Wanna have a sleep over?" I didn't know I was screaming until the table full of guys next to us started staring at me.
"Yes!" she was just as excited as I was. After we finished our ice cream we went into the store and what I saw made my mouth drop.
