Aggie's Pov:
I had come up with an excuse for what happened in the cafeteria, because I can't really tell people 'Yeah my friends Lillie pulled down my pants because she was testing to see if it would change the color of my hair, Why? Oh yeah my hair changes colors with my emotions' I would be sent to a mental asylum that afternoon. So I tell people it was a prank gone horribly wrong.
"Ok class we will start a new project today so pair up and I will hand out the rubric" My teacher Mrs. Vogel said. I sighed and just stayed in my seat, there is no one I know in this class and I'm not good with making new friends. I usually do projects by myself anyway.
By the time everyone got there partners except me Mrs. Vogel passed out the papers. When she reached me she just smiled sadly at me and handed me the paper.
I stared down at the paper "This is so easy" I mumbled, we have to make a poster about enzymes. If you took notes on it you would be done in a couple hours, but if you were like the rest of the class who didn't take notes it would most likely take 2 maybe 3 days tops.
There was a light knock on the door and a very attractive guy walked in the class
"Hello sweetie what can I help you with" Mrs. Vogel said and smiled kindly at the very attractive boy
"Yeah I am a transfer student and I pretty sure this my class" He said and handed the teacher his schedule"
She scans over it for a brief moment "Yes you are in the right class, Hi I am Mrs. Vogel" she reached out to shake his hand
"Well we are starting a new project on enzymes, I hope you learned about that in your other school, and the only other partner left is Aggie so you can work with her" She said and pointed at me
I froze in my seat, as I said before I am not good with making friends, and this person being a very attractive guy does not help at all
"Ok" He smiled at me and walked over
"H-hi" I stuttered, god control yourself!
"Hi" He chuckled "My name is Nick" he held out his fist and I just stared at it
"Your are so posed to pound it" He laughed
"I know" I said and I could feel my cheeks heating up. My hair! Oh god its going to change color, I quickly threw it up in a bun hiding the ends.
"My name is Aggie" I said and smiled at him and he smiled back. Oh My God he has dimples
"Why are you staring at my cheeks" He asked playfully
"You have dimples" I said and poked his right cheek which caused him to smile and make the dimples show again. They are so adorable!
"Thanks" He said
I looked away "Did I really just say that out loud?" I don't think my cheeks can get any redder
"Yes you really did just said that out loud" He laughed again, I hope not at me. What am I saying of course he is laughing at me, I am a weirdo
I deiced to change the topic "So do you know anything enzymes?" I asked
He chuckled and shook his head no, well that means I can do the project myself and I don't even have to worry about inviting him over to help.
"Well I will just do the whole project and put your name on it" I said taking out my project planner and writing it down so I don't forget
"No you can't do that, it's not fair to you" He stopped laughing and looked at me seriously
"It's fine, no problem really I like science" I said shaking my head, and waving him off like it was nothing
"Yeah but how will I get another excuse to hang out with you" I froze, did he really say that or am I hearing things now
The bell rung and everyone got up to leave so did Nick
He turned around and put a piece of crumpled paper on my desk "Text me sometime" he said and turned back around and left
