It is really funny to think you can trust someone to be your best friend forever, when really you can't predict the future. So why do we make such an assumption that 2 or more people will be talking, hanging out, and be nice to each other forever? It is for reassurance really, to know that there will most likely be a person you can fall back on and trust them to help lift you up again. You know those blankies your parents used too tell you had to get rid off to grow up, well best friends are like those blankies. They provide comfort, emotional support, and you could always trust them to be there for you when you needed them. But does that mean we have to give up having friends in order to grow up? Do you no longer get support when you reach a certain age? You know that feeling of pain you got when you saw your Mom or Dad throw away your comfort, emotional support, your only friends, also know as your blankie. Is it the same pain when you loose you best friend?
Pain is also a difficult topic to really define and explain. Why? because everyone experiences it differently, copes with it differently, and also some people can handle a little more than others. There is two different types of pain, there is physical pain and emotional pain. Physical pain is the one you can feel on your skin and it sends chills down your spine to think of someone physical hurting you, whether it be slapping your cheek or pushing you down stairs; it hurts, some worse than others but they all have at least an small sting. Emotional pain is when you can't feel your bones breaking or your skin burning, but you feel like your mind is working against you physical pain leaves scars but so does emotional pain. But these scars the person is the only one who can feel or see them. Emotional pain is the worst because anyone can feel physical pain but some feel emotional and it slowly eats you alive
Right now I only have 3 questions:
1. Do you have to give up your friends like your childhood blankies in order to grow up?
2. Why do we have pain in the world?
3. What did I do to Lillie to make her hate me so much
