I respect the hell out of Jessica for trying to protect Maelee. But she just fucked up royally.

I had this handled. If she could keep her God damn mouth shut, this would have never been a problem. I tried to stop her but she didn't listen and made a bad situation worse. She threw my feelings for Maelee in Susan's face, and then she threatened her.

I can appreciate where she was coming from with her ultimatum, but I think threatening to end someone is a bit harsh. Regardless of what Susan may think about her own power, Jessica has much more influence. Given proper motivation, Jessica will go to war and she will win. I sincerely hope Susan takes that to heart.

Had Maelee not been part of the subject line, their bickering would have been mildly entertaining. I denied my feelings for the beautiful doctor. The lie tasted horrible when it fell from my mouth, but it worked. Susan dropped her suspicion until Jessica opened her big fat mouth again. She must be physically incapable of shutting up. I know she has her own shit with the annoying girl but she took it too far.

How did the night end up this way? Everything went perfectly in Katie's room, just as planned. Susan telling Maelee we were together explains the look on her face when I saw them talking in the hall. That face has yet to leave my mind and I'm terrified it never will. She looked so disappointed, so let down, so hurt: something I promised myself I would never cause her to be.

I fucked up but Jessica fucked up more. She was trying to hurt me by exposing my feelings to Susan. What she really did was paint a giant fucking target across Maelee's forehead.

"Hudson! Get her out of here!" Jessica yells and points to the door. I wish she would open her eyes for once. Every single thing I have done and said has been to protect us. There is no way in hell I would ever be with anyone if there is even a fraction of a chance I could be with Maelee.

No fucking way. I thought she knew me better than that shit.

I tell Susan we should go and she looks at me to gauge my sincerity. Wanting to sway her as far out this place as I can, I wink and nod towards the hallway. A dick move, I know. But, she accepts the invitation with a smile and finally starts to gather her things. I find it laughable the easy slag thinks we could be a thing. I have a better relationship with my barista.

Unfortunately, the girl with too big tits and too small a nose takes her time and Jessica begins to lose patience. My patience is wearing thin as well. I want her gone and I want her gone now. Jessica remains standing, waiting for Susan to exit. When she finally does, she proudly pokes out her chest and flicks her hair back, brushing by Jessica to meet me by the door.

Jessica doesn't care. Susan is leaving so in her mind, she won. I hate to inform her, no one has won yet. Not until we can make it through this without a headline. Thankfully, we are very close. As long as Susan thinks I'm interested, she won't write anything negative. At least I hope not.

As soon as I feel some relief, Jessica runs her mouth again. "Bye Susan," she says, waiving her hand.

"God fucking damn it! Can you just shut the fuck up!?" I ask. Jessica's eyes widen at my outburst. I haven't said anything against her yet, but now I have to. She is so focused on being a badass she doesn't see what she's doing!

Jessica gets in my face. "No! I can't, you dick!" she yells. Susan steps behind me and holds on to my sides, making me more angry. I want this bitch to quit touching me! "I really thought you would be more respectful of the girl you told your momma you were going to marry!"
