"So, Miss Penny," Dr. Peters smiles at me, but not in an over powering way. It makes me a little more comfortable.

"I just wanted to thank you for coming to my house before we start. It makes me a lot more relaxed in my own home," I tell her. She nods and takes out her tablet and stylus from her leather bag.

"I believe that upon meeting, a patient and a therapist should meet in the patient's own space to get on a more deeper level. But I promise, Penny, I won't talk to you like a teacher. More like colleagues. Can you handle that?" She asks.

I think of Liam who is in the next room, trying his hardest not to listen I'll bet. I know he just wants to help. But he wants to be the one to do it. Unfortunately, this will have to do.

"I think so," I reply, honestly.

"Excellent. Let's begin,"
