Heather grabbed Skylars hand. Skylar couldn't talk. Heather pulled her, it was no use. Open the portal. Heather thought.

Heather appeared in the hallway of the school. Skylar was next to her. She couldn't move anymore. Her feet were slowly turning shimmering blue.
"Grace!" Heather screamed. She needed Grace. The door to her left opened. Abby crept out.
"Heather?" She asked.
"Where's Grace?" Heather demanded. Abby gulped and turned to the door. Grace slowly stepped out.
"What is it Heather?" Grace peaked down the hallway.
"Just come." Heather painted. Grace followed her around the bend to where Skylar stood. The crystals were up to her knees now. Her eyes were frozen in place.
"I need you to unfreeze her." Heather stopped. Grace gulped.
"This is way more-" Grace stuttered.
"Can you try?" Heather pleaded. Grace licked her lips. She placed one hand on her chest and one on her leg. She closed her eyes. A fire-like glow went through her body. The crystals slowly stopped. They were melting. Heather was bitting her lip, nervously. Skylar breathed in. Her blue eyes widened.
Heather raced up to her and they hugged. Grace was breathing deeply, looking relieved. Heather let go of Skylar and neck-hugged Grace.

For the past three weeks the students trained harder then ever. The trainers clearly thought they'd forget over holiday. Heather continued to greet Skylar in the hallways, who was learning to be a real student. The weeks went by like a flash and before she knew it, she was lining up to through the portal home. Skylar was across from her. Brian had tracked down her parents and she was going to meet them for the first time.
"Write to me!" Skylar yelled across. It was now Heather's turn.
"Of course!" She yelled, falling into the swirling mist.
