"Honestly, guys, this is a tough one to talk about." Olivia sighed as her and Brooke sat on Emma's bed. Emma stared out the window. The three girls were listening to Piper's podcast. "I mean, I've covered some terrible things, but last night, I felt it. The hunt for Tyler O'Neal ended in tragedy, and another Lakewood teen lost her life. And the press will be hiping the curse on Brandon James, for something to pin it all on, but I've met these kids. Their lose is impossible to describe, so I'm not going to try. My heartfelt condolences go out for the friends and family of Riley Marra. I'm so sorry for your loss."
"Could you turn that off, please?" Emma asked the two girls on the bed. Brooke sighed before reaching and pressing the pause button on her phone. "I can't believe she's gone."
"I can't believe I abandoned her." Brooke cried as Olivia pulled her into a hug.
"Brooke, I did too." Olivia felt tears rushing down her cheeks. "I just went off to fuck Jake."
"We all did." Emma sighed as she sat down next to her sister. "I mean, we all left her." Emma stated. "Not, you know, the other one."
"Yeah, but you were worried about me." Brooke sighed. "And I was just answering a booty call for a guy that didn't even show!"
"Brooke, it's not your fault." Emma said to her. Emma grabbed onto her hand as Brooke just cried into Olivia's chest.
"How is it that both of us left one of our best friend to go with some guys who are assholes?" Olivia looked down at Brooke. Brooke shook her head as she cried.
Brooke lightly pulled away to look at her face in her phone. "You know, I don't think I'll make it through this town hall thing." She sniffled. "None of this waterproof mascara actually is."
Emma placed a pillow on her lap and pulled Brooke onto her lap. Brooke took Olivia's hand in her. "You can go a day without mascara." Emma chuckled.
"You know," Brooke smiled a bit, "Riley had those insane long lashes."
"Yup." Olivia cried. "She never even wore mascara."
"That bitch." Brooke cried along with her.
"I know." Emma sighed. "I miss her, too."

The three girls sat together at the town hall, with Audrey behind them. "How you doing, Em?" Audrey asked Emma, leaning foreword.
"I've been better." Emma nodded.
"My dad's got index cards." Brooke stated as she stared up at her father, the mayor. "How could there be talking points today?"
The mayor stepped closer towards the mic, and it produced a bit of feedback. "Good morning, my friends." He spoke. "I know that we are all still reeling from the events that have taken place over the mat few days. And the loss to our community is something that we will be feeling for years to come. Sheriff, Hudson."
The sheriff walked onto the stage. "I know that there are a lot of rumors floating around. And I'm here to tell you what we know." Jake caught Olivia's eye. He had a smirk on his face, and she sighed. "Last night, it appears that Tyler O'Neal attacked Riley Marra outside the sheriff's station and then fled the scene." Sheriff Hudson explained. "Riley died of her injuries before paramedics could arrive."
The sheriff sighed. "Now, the security footage shows that her assailant was wearing the same mask as the person who killed Nina Patterson. And that mask was found in the wreckage of Tyler's car. Our ME is running forensic tests to confirm that the body found inside the car is that of Tyler O'Neal, but I'm confident we found our man. Thank you." The sheriff quickly walked off the stage.
