Kyra and Obi-Wan sat on one of the couches. Kyra had her stomach his from his view with her Jedi robes.

"Has Anakin been to see you?" Obi-Wan questioned the Jedi Knight beside him with curiosity.

"Several times. . . I was so happy to hear he was accepted on the Jedi Council," Kyra nodded, acting as though Anakin didn't live in that apartment with her.

"I know. . . he deserves it. He is impatient, strong willed, very opinionated, but truly gifted," Obi-Wan nodded as he listed traits that matched Anakin perfectly.

They both laughed.

"You're not just here to say hello. Something is wrong, isn't it?" Kyra noticed.

"It's no winder that you are a Jedi, Kyra," Obi-Wan stated in slight amusement.

"You're not very good at hiding your feelings," Kyra shrugged.

"It's Anakin. . . He's becoming moody and detached. He's been put in a difficult position as the Chancellor's representative. . . but I think it's more than that. I was hoping he may have talked to you," Obi-Wan hunched over, hands clasped together.

"Why would he talk to me about his work?" Kyra asked, doing her best to act confused.

Obi-Wan studied her.

"Neither of you is very good at hiding your feelings either," Obi-Wan replied.

"Don't give me that look," Kyra stated.

"I know how he feels about you," Obi-Wan continued.

"What did he say?" Kyra asked rather nervously.

"Nothing. He didn't have to," Obi-Wan replied.

Kyra, slightly flustered, stood and Obi-Wan followed. She walked to the balcony.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Kyra lied.

"I know you both too well. I can see you two are in love. Kyra, I'm worried about him,"

Kyra looked down and didn't answer.

"I fear your relationship has confused him. He's changed considerably since we returned. . ." Obi-Wan shared his concerns.

They stood on the balcony and looked off at the early morning city. Obi-Wan started to leave. Kyra stayed looking off into the distant city.

"Kyra, I'm not telling the Council about any of this. I. . . I hope I didn't upset you. We're all friends, I care about both of you," Obi-Wan expressed.

"Thank you, Obi-Wan," Kyra nodded.

"Please do what you can to help him," Obi-Wan requested.

"Wait," Kyra called from him as he was about to leave.

"What?" Obi-Wan turned.

"I've always wondered something. Beings strong with the force is passed down through families. How am I able to use it when I am the only force-sensitive in my family? When my mom, sisters, father and are all without it?" Kyra asked as she leaned again the balcony.

"Actually, it is believed to be genetic. There are rare cases, as in yours, Kyra, where a child was born with a high midichlorian count even with no force-sensitive parents," explained Obi-Wan, "It is still a mystery why that happens, but the are all raised to be Jedi either way."

"Thank you, and may the force be with you," Kyra nodded.

"May the force be with you, as well," Obi-Wan left, leaving Kyra to her own thoughts.
