Years after Kyra's death, Padmé would always mourned. Even as she gave birth to her child with Torrin, she never forgot. She regularly visited her sisters tomb that was in the middle of Naboo.
She held onto her daughters small hand as she walked through the bustling Naboo streets. She had resigned from the Senate, as the Empire had taken over the galaxy, and Darth Vader was becoming feared.
Only Padmé and the vanished Obi-Wan knew the man behind the mask. Only he was more machine than man. Dependent on a suit for his survival. It pained Padmé to see her old friend that way, but she thought he deserved after what he had done.
She stopped in front of the tomb in the city. Her daughter looked up at her mother in confusion. She saw her mother looking sad, like she didn't wish to cry.
"Mommy?" The curly haired girl asked.
"This is your Aunt Kyra," Padmé let out a shaky breath. "You may not hear about her in the history books, but know she did amazing things. She trained as a Jedi, and protected many. Only she couldn't protect herself."
"Kyra," She tilted hr head, "like me?"
"Yes, exactly like you," Padmé laughed.
"Mommy, how did she die?" The young Kyra asked her mother.
"She fell in love with someone. Someone who had a destiny laid out for him bigger than our galaxy. He was like her, a Jedi. Only he went bad, and eventually, the man she loved became her demise. She had two kids, Luke and
Leia, and they should be a couple are younger than you," Padmé reminisced on the times those years ago.
"Wow!" Kyra exclaimed to her mother. "Wait until I till my friends! They'll be so jealous," Kura smiled a toothy grin.
"Okay, come one," Padmé laughed as she began to lead her daughter back home. She only paused to read the engravings on the stone once more.
