The Adventures of Number Five

Chapter 6

I was an ass. I had literally dropped her off after a fight and drove away. What the fuck was wrong with me?

Do you what her to leave again?

No definitely not.

I got into my car and drove to the local flower shop and bought some lilies her favourite before heading over to her apartment. I got in the elevator and pressed for her floor. Two other residents of the building got in and were looking pale.

"Yeah I had to buzz the paramedics in; she was having a panic attack." One said.

"How far along is she?" the other asked. My breathing hitched.

"She looked like she was in her six month." The first one and I let out a sigh of relief. I got out of the elevator on Bella's floor and got to her apartment and got out my key to let myself in knowing she wouldn't let me in straight away because we were fighting, but the door was opened. I pushed it open and saw packages of medical supplies on the floor and what looked like blood on the floor.

Shocked I dropped the flowers. I ran down the stairs of the apartment, missing some of them but not caring as I ran. I banged on the door of the Super's office.

"What?" he asked opening the door but when he saw my expression he nodded. "They took her to Patrick's son." He said and I nodded before running out of the building leaving my car there. It could get towed for all I care.

I ran as fast as I could until I got to the hospital and pushed past the other people waiting until I was at the desk.

"I need to see Dr. Cullen" I said.

"Edward calm down." Carmen the secretary told me.

"No I will not calm down. I need to see my father right now this very minute." I demanded.

"He's in the trauma room Edward he can't see you." Carmen said.

"Well then let me go to the trauma room." I said feeling like I was going to explode. "Tell me where I can find him." I said.

"He's covering that pregnant girl they brought in." An EMT said interrupting my ranting.

"She's my girlfriend!" I yelled. "And that is my baby!" I yelled even louder not caring who saw.

"I'll take him back." The EMT said opening the door and Carmen nodded. "My names Hayley, I was on the crew that picked up Bella."

"What's wrong with her?" I asked.

"Panic attack" She said.

"Fuck it" I said as we stopped outside the room. I could hear them all yelling. Max and another doctor were yelling at each other as I walked in. "Bella" I sighed as I saw all the different tubes coming out of her.

"Get him out of here." Dad yelled not even looking up from Bella.

"I'll stay" Max said but the other doctor glared at him.

"No you messed up royally you can go and explained to him what is going on." She said pushing him.

"Max?" I asked panicking. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"This is my case Dr. Montgomery I will be the doctor covering her." Max spat.

"Will someone tell me what's going on?" I asked.

"Don't blame Dr. Montgomery because you missed the second baby Max." Dad shouted as he injected Bella with something.

Second baby

"Someone better tell me what is going on right now!" I yelled.

"Dr. Fisher please explains to the patient's boyfriend what is going on." Dr. Montgomery said and Dad looked at Max as if to say to do it. Max grabbed my arm and pulled me from the room and told me.
