"Where we're you yesterday (y/ n)!?!!?" Sasha did not stop throwing questions at you and of course Mikasa and Hanji didn't stop her. Eventually, you shoved a potato into her mouth, took Hanji's glasses off her face and pulled Mikasa's red scarf to cover her whole face. And with that you ran away to the local park. That's right, it was the weekend. You were free from family, school and stress. You arrived at your favourite tree and climbed to the highest tree branch. It was the oldest oak tree in the park and was known for its strong branches. You turned on your phone to see 24 messages, 14 from Sasha, 5 Mikasa, 3 from Hanji and 2 from Levi. You grinned as you opened Levi's messages.

Senpai Levi: Hey (y/ n) , I was wondering if we should meet up. I don't wanna seem 2 clingy but if it cool where should we meet?

Senpai Levi: I was thinking the park that we were at yesterday?

You smiled and texted back:

Me: Hey Levi, I'm good Thx hbu? And Yh I'm actually at the park rn. Come find me at the biggest oak tree and look up. Oh and btw, can you climb trees?😂

You sent the message and he responded almost immediately, which you thought was cute.

Senpai Levi: Alright, I'll be there in 5. And what do u mean by climb a tree?? But yes I can.

Me: GREAT!! And don't worry, I will tell u when u get here😄 See ya💙

Senpai Levi: Au Revoir ma belle princesse.

Me: Tu parle Francais???

Senpai Levi: Oui.

Me: well that is pretty cool I guess, but u better come soon coz I'm not gonna stay around a tree for a whole day😂

Senpai Levi: ok ok I'm coming calm down.

Senpai Levi: Bye

I turned of my phone and smiled to my self ; Levi is a great person, and I don't wanna lose that kinda trust in someone. I sat there just day dreaming until I heard a certain voice.
" Oi brat! Where are you?"
"Look up!" You said to the confused Levi on the ground.

*Levi's Pov:*

I looked up to find (y/ n) sitting on a branch on the top of a tree, grinning like a Cheshire Cat. I couldn't help but smile, it was so cute. What the heck Levi, since when did I say someone was cute.
I started making my way up to (y/ n) and eventually I reached her.
"That took you a while, huh?" I looked up to see her grinning at me.
"Tch, shut up brat." Her face fell and she looked away. Shoot. I made her sad.
"(Y/ n), don't be sad, you know you're not a brat. I'm just so used to saying that, right?"
"Yeah, yeah! I'm not sad at that... I've just never been this close to anyone else, well except my friends of course. "
I was shocked ; was she not close to her family? I don't have anything against it, sometimes families can be a pain in the neck.
"Are you not close to your family then?" I ask as softly as possible.
"You could say they care for me and stuff but sometimes I just want some alone time. I mean I do love them, obviously, but I just wanna be with other people all the time. You know?" She looked up at me and smiled, "are you close to your family?"
"No. I don't have a family."
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry."
"Don't," I said," I don't need sympathy. It's pathetic.... No offence."
"None taken but I'm not sympathizing for you, I have empathy for you. I know what it's like. I sometimes think my family isn't really my family. But remember Levi that a family isn't always someone who is related to you, it's someone who is there for you, always by your side, to encourage you and to help you achieve your goals. A family is someone who loves you and believes in you, and is willing to sacrifice their time and energy to make you form a smile, whether it be big or small. A family is someone who would die for you, and that you are their everything. So levi, believe me when I say this, I am your family. I will be by your side till the very end. I will support you and help you to achieve your dreams and aspirations. You can rely on me and trust me. Levi, I am your family because," she pulled me into a hug and wiped my tears away," I love you."
That's it. I had to let go. My tears fell out, causing her shoulder to be soaked. She didn't even care, instead she soothed me stroking my hair and rubbing my back. But the thing she did that warmed me up inside was, she kept repeating the same line over and over in my ear.
