"Nice job, Calum! You have really been improving in this class. I'm glad to see your grades going up. Whatever you're doing, keep it up!"

Our history teacher set down a packet of paper in front of the dark haired boy sitting next to me. His face lit up immediately when he looked at the grade circled on top.

"Carls! I got a 96! Thanks so much. You're the absolute best, " Calum whispered enthusiastically to me. I gave him a large grin. I was so happy for him.

"I'm proud of you Cal," I told him.

"It's all because I have the best girlfriend in the entire world," his smile was still plastered onto his face. I let out a small laugh.

"It's not hard when you have the best boyfriend on the planet," I replied, making him smile wider.

"Okay, guys. We get it, you're in love. You don't have to show case it to the unfortunate who are still single."

I turned my attention in front of me, to see my red headed friend with smirk on his face. I hit his arm and he laughed. Next to him sat his best amigo, Luke. His eyes were wide in concern as he looked down at his test.

"What'd you get, Luke?" I asked, worried. Luke lifted his paper for me to see.

"This is some kind of a joke right?" Luke asked. In the right hand corner of his exam was a big 92. I let out a breath of relief

"Oh my god Luke! That's so great. Congrats!"

He gave me a big goofy grin, that made the remaining 3 of us laugh.

"Alright class. I averaged out your scores and it seems that your class is the highest with a score of 94! Great job everyone. Since you have the highest out of all my classes, you get these last 15 minutes to yourself. You can talk, play on your phones, anything. Just don't do anything illegal or leave the classroom unless you ask. The rest of the time is yours. Well done everyone!" The teacher announced and everyone let out a small cheer. I was a little confused. I didn't get my test back. Maybe he just forgot to pass it out.

"I'll be right back guys," I got up and walked to the front of the classroom, where our teacher was sitting at his desk.

"Um, Mr. House. I didn't get my test back," I say slowly.

"Oh, yes. I forgot to tell you about that. I kept it here for my teachers conference at the end of the month. I like to show the administration that some kids actually get good grades. You got a 100, so great job!"

I felt a weight be lifted off of my shoulders, and a wave of relief replaced it.

"Really? Thank you so much!" I say excitedly.

"Thank you for paying attention in class. Luke, Calum, and Michael's grades seem to have gone up as well. Since you sit at their table, I was wondering if you had anything to do with it?"

"Oh. Well, I tutor them every once in a while," I tell my professor.

"That's great. Well I won't keep you any longer, so go off. Be free for the remaining amount of time," Mr. House said. I nodded and walked back to my table.

"100? Wow Carls. Nice," Luke says. The boys were obviously eavesdropping on my conversation.

"Thanks," I say softly as I sit back down at my seat. Calums arm went around my shoulders immediately, and I had to keep myself from squealing like a little girl.

"So what are you doing tonight? I was thinking we could watch a movie at the theatre," Michael asked. I felt bad that I couldn't go because I already had plans tonight.
