Because of You

Chapter 2

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

Seriously. What are we doing here? A minute ago, we were just outside running away from the owner of the car basically making chaos and now we're here inside a shop full of teddy bears and other cute stuffs.

I look around a shelf full of stuffed toys. I grab a stuffed tiger with blue eyes and fluffy fur. It's really cute.

I honestly wanna kill Race right now. He is getting us in really big trouble.

"I'm gonna buy you a gift." Race replied.

"What? What for?"

"Look, Kaitlyn. I left you without a reason and I'm sorry."

He turned his back and picked a stuffed tiger and gave it to me.

"At least this once I could try to make it up to you. To tell you how much I'm sorry "

Was he crying? Did he really mean it? Was I going to forgive him? Of course not.

"By what? Buying me a toy? Isn't that unfair? I have been suffering these past years and this is how you want to make up? " I said.

I feel sorry for him. But I wasn't going to forgive him yet. Not now.

I look at the stuff toy he has given me. It's the tiger I saw earlier.

"Thanks for the gift." I said and walked away leaving him there.

Like what he did to me.

"Okay wait. " He stopped walking.

"What now? " I asked annoyed.

My legs are killing me right now. This man has been dragging me to places I shouldn't be in. Plus, he has also caused me a whole lot of trouble. For instance, The 'Running away from an angry man who probably just wants justice for his car' scene. This is why I'm never lucky when I'm with him.

I looked at him. He was holding his tummy and he spoke,

"I'm hungry, lets eat. I'll treat you baby girl." He said and winked at me.

"That has to be the most disgusting think I ever saw. Oh and please don't call me 'baby girl', it doesn't fit you." I said.

Silence once again filled the air and I could feel the awkwardness. I decided to break it.

"So, where are we eating?"

"You'll see baby girl." he replied.

''Ugh." I tried to act annoyed as much as possible.

"Stop trying to be annoyed. It doesn't fit you." He smiled and went ahead of me.

Well that little! how dare he copy my line!? I sighed. What can I do anyway? He has always been like that since the day we met.

But until now he is here with me... But no! Nothing will change my mind I won't forgive him!

I ran and Jumped to him because of the thought while strangling him.

"How dare you mock me like that ah!? " I shouted

"Woah Kaitlyn calm down." He laughed.

I wasn't planning to stop straggling him but he was too strong. He literally picked me up placed me gently on the ground. Wow. He is so damn strong.

"Okay Kaitlyn, What the hell was that for?!"

"Well.. I was sort of annoyed when you copied what I said." I told him.
