Halo remembered this, the war.. it was back..

She clutched her sword, shaking slightly as dust covered the battlefield.

Her horse had bucked her off and fled, she only had this sword to protect herself with now.

It lit up with flames and Halo looked back at the fog like dust, every few moments unseen swords clashed together, causing her to jump.

Halo did not want to kill.. she loved all things, and she didn't exactaly hate the demons.

Lost in these thoughts she didnt notice the man approach her.

Halo looked up when the three headed dog beside him growled.

She backed away, holding the flaming sword infront of her while she violently shook.

The man laughed, stepping into Halos vision.

He wore a tophat that covered his red eyes and a cane in his hand, the top of the cane had a golden horse-like creature head.

"Greetings Angel, listen, I don't want to kill you, but I kinda have to. Boss Lucifer is scary and master Gem said I gotta." He said quietly.

Halo stared blankly at the demon and a mace appeared at the end of his cane.

"So uhm, nice to meet you, but goodbye.. Cerberus.." The demon pointed the cane at Halo and the three headed dog snarled and stepped closer to Halo, teeth bared, then he lunged.

Halo squeaked and slashed her sword down, slicing two of the mastiffs heads clean off.

Cerberus fell to the ground, twisting and yowling as blood poured from his shoulders.

"Cerberus!" Cried the demon, falling to the dogs side.

The dog twitched before blacking out.

The demon looked up at Halo, his eyes sparkling from tears. "Angel. I will get you for this. I will kill you. I'll be.. your worst nightmare."

Halo yelped as she sat up in class.

"Halo, you're not supposed to sleep during class." Said Matilda, standing infront of the class full of angels.

Halos cheeks went red in embaressment. "S-Sorry.. what was the question?"

Matilda sighed. "When a demon transfers to heaven, where do there memories go?"

"Hell." Replied Halo.

"Correct, class dismissed."

Halo walked out of her sunday class, remembering the nightmare that stirred in her mind uneasily.

She opened the door to her house and went to her bedroom, sitting down at a desk and opening a book Matilda had handed them all.

She read quietly to herself.

"True animal forms are like the spirit animals of Angels, Archangels, and Demons. Angels work hard to discover who they really are, and find the spirit animal within their souls. Demons on the other hand literally get their spirit animal handed to them, as soon as they're appointed 'demon' class they get some random animal. Normally something dark like a raven or crow or a wolf, but never a pet, pets where forbiddonly for Angels only. Angels have to concentrate very hard to shift into other animals besides their true animal forms, but the true animal forms took no effort to shift into." The book read.

Halo sighed, this book had a lie in it.

She was always upset by this but never showed it, for it did take some effort for her to be her true animal and she never knew why, nor did her mentor Matilda. But it was alright, Halo could still transform.
