(A/N Well hello there! Another update for ya. If there's a spelling or grammar error, let me know. I haven't proofread it.)
Pink scales glistened in the translucent waters, tredding through the water at a rapid pace.
"Dipper's gone! Dipper's forgotten us!" she shouted angrily, biting her lip, "Dipper's forgotten me." she heaved, eyes shaky.
The brunette stifled a sob, keeping her expression as neutral as she possibly could. He just up and left! How could he? Sure, it wasn't Dipper's fault, she knew that! But, how could he forget her? Mabel! The mystery twins! What was she without him?
She couldn't, no, wouldn't forgive him!
The siren paced the seafloor angrily, running out of places to bite her lip that weren't already tender.
She paused, mouth hanging. That's what she was going to do to Dipper! She was going to go off with that stupid human, leave behind her brother... She was just as rotten, a selfish, greedy siren. And now she had nothing at all.
She slumped on the ground with her head in her arms. Oh, she had been a terrible sibling.
From a distance, the older siren had been watching the girl pace around restlessly. He had decided to go comfort his niece, but he couldn't seem to force any words out. A frown really didn't suit her.
"Mabel, sweetie." her Grunkle said, finally enough courage to speak up.
The girl looked away, eyes welled up, "Hm...?" she asked, trying to keep her tone as relaxed as possible.
"How you holding up?" he asked, taking a seat next to the brunette.
"Mm... Fine!" the female smiled weakly.
Her uncle frowned, hooking an arm around her shoulder.
"We'll get him back." he assured, rubbing circles onto the sirens back.
Her eyes welled up even more, "How?" she said hopelessly.
"I... I don't know." he replied, eyes dark.
Mabel took a deep breath, clenching her fists together, "It's all MY FAULT!" she screamed, shoulders trembling.
"EVERYTHING I'VE DONE." she heaved, "EVERYTHING HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE NUISSANCE TO HIM!" she shouted, forking her fingers through her messy locks.
"Mabel, sweetie..." her Grunkle tried.
"DON'T MABEL SWEETIE ME. HE'S GONE BECAUSE OF ME. DON'T... DON'T..." she shivered, anger pulsing through her veins.
Her Grunkle closed his eyes, then stared at her, "Yes, it's your fault." he sighed.
Mabel seemed to deflate, sudden realization clawing her insides.
"But." her Grunkle interrupted, "It's my fault too."
"It's my fault I didn't notice anything until it was too late. I was an awful guardian." he admitted, voice gruff.
Mabel was now silent, biting her lip.
"Grunkle Stan, I... I'm scared." the female confessed, looking at her grunkle with tired eyes.
"I know, Mabel." he agreed, "I'm scared too."
The two were in an ominous silence, Mabel sobbing lightly, eyes red and puffy from crying.
After sometime, the female got up, swiftly rising, sending clouds of sand spinning at the push of her tail.
"I'm okay now. Let's go find Grunkle Ford." she whispered, eyes focused dead ahead.
