(A/N Hey guys, gals and everything in between! It's been a year! Yeah! Wow. Time flies. And I do apologize. Here's another chapter, if you still remember what's happening. 'Cause I don't! Haha!)

The boy was awoken to the sound of footsteps. Loud, burly ones. Obnoxious ones. He slowly adjusted himself to the sun beating down on his skin, the burn of the ropes that circled his arms and torso, and the large pole his back was pressed against in an uncomfortable manner. Groaning, the boy recalled the events that had occured last night. He just wanted some damn breadsticks, and instead- ended up as some prisoner of his captain's enemy. Lovely. The boy laughed sarcastically, eyes still closed- he didn't feel like examining his new surroundings to the exact detail. The unfamiliar place would just increase his uneasiness and he didn't want that.

"Lad's awake." a gruff voice shouted, alerting people on board of his apparent conciousness.

Dipper sulked and opened his eyes. Shouldn't have laughed. As expected, the sun invaded his eyes, and he had to squint them shut immediately. He went through an open, blink, open, blink process until he could see without the feeling of his eyeballs being slowly melted to liquid. He almost gagged at the thought of a simmering bowl of eyeballs. Bill would love that.

The first thing he saw was a short little man, with an unmistakeable baby face and a large poof of white hair.

"Ayy, Cap'n Tad has waited forever for you to wake up." The boy commented, smiling widely at the annoyed looking boy.

"How long have I been out?" He asked, not expecting an answer.

The white haired child tapped his chin, "A couple days." he said, "Captain didn't expect the spell to last so long." he laughed, walking up to examine the boy a bit more.

"So~ You're Bill's newest edition to the crew." he grinned, "You don't look very useful." the boy taunted, the crew behind him laughing.

Dipper grinned, "Neither do you, haircut." he smiled, watching the boy redden as the crew laughed even harder at that.

"Doesn't feel good, does it?" Dipper inquired, watching the boy get even more embarassed.

"Shut it! Tad wouldn't mind if I beat up the cargo a lil' bit before he arrives..." the boy said, reaching towards a blunt weapon that was covered in old, dried blood and cracking at the edges.

Dipper paled, but grit his teeth, "Do your worst, shrimp." he said, bravely.

"Gideon." a voice called, sternly and grumpily from somewhere in the distance.

"Captain!" the boy began frantically, "Prisoner was out of hand... was gonna rough 'im up a bit." he murmured slowly.

The man rubbed his eyes, looking downright fatigued. Guess he wasn't a morning person. Or a noon person. Whatever, time is dead anyways. The boy examined the captain, or Bill's apparent "brother". He didn't know his captain had a family, but he could certainly see the resemblance.

This man was dressed elegantly, a black vest and a white dress shirt. The shirt was wrinkled lightly from sleeping on it, and even from this distance- his eyes were droopy and had bags underneath. He had a mop of purplish, black hair that was swept neatly to the side and seemed to resemble charcoal in the sunlight. He wasn't wearing his signature captain's coat or hat, as it really just looked like he had just woken up.

"Weapons down, Gideon. I've waited too long for you to go knocking him out again." he muttered, eyes narrowing at the weak looking boy.
