"Jayde can I talk to you please" Shan sighs, pulling me into the living room. I was just about to get a drink from the kitchen when she caught me. I sit down on the sofa in front of her, looking at her unsure.

"I know you're crazy about Harry and he's crazy about you, I also know you're with Zac because Harry has made it very hard to be with him, that's partly my fault. I think I'm going to give up on trying to keep you guys apart because even when him being so far away, you both find a way. I want you to know that there will be times when you won't know what his problem is, but if there's any hope for you two to have a meaningful relationship, you need to have full acceptance of this. You're going to have to accept him for who he is—all of him—even the part that you may never know." When she's finished talking I just stare at her blankly. I don't even know what to say to this.

"Thank you" I manage to nod. I'm still not really sure what she means but I glad she's given up on trying to keep us apart. Now I need to work on Harry, he needs to let me in or we really have no hope.

"He might be more open with you if you keep pushing it, but I don't want you to break what you guys have by pushing him too far." She goes on to say.

"I know, thank you for always looking out for me Shan, I do appreciate it so much." I smile.

"I wish he'd come home" I sigh out loud.
