I wake up to the smell of pancakes. I get up and open my blinds to see the sun is shining. What a beautiful day. I sit on the edge of my bed and put my hair up in a bun, yawning and wiping my eyes. Last night was confusing.
I go to get up but my phone rings loudly on the bedside table, making me jump. "Hello?" I answer without looking at the screen.
"Hey gorgeous." The voice is a familiar and it immediately awakens the butterflies in my stomach.
"Harry" I breathe out. It's so good to hear his voice.
"I'm not calling too early am I? I'm so sorry for calling so late last night, the time difference is taking some getting use to."
"No it's fine, I'm up." I tell him.
"I was going to email you but I didn't know if you had your phone or not, considering Zac answered it last night."
"Yeah sorry, I didn't get a chance to stop him." I chuckle.
"I hope i didn't cause any problems with you two, I just really wanted to hear your voice" he sighs, this makes my heart beat jump. God Ive missed his voice.
"Don't worry Harry." I say, reassuring him.
"Listen, if you're not too busy tomorrow night your time, I'd like to video call you, you up for that?"he asks.
"I'd love too" I smile. I've never heard so much emotion and feelings coming from Harry before, it's warming my heart in ways I can't even describe.
"Okay good." He says, I can hear the smile on his lips as he speaks.
"I can't wait" I say, I really should tone down my enthusiasm just a bit.
"Look I've got to go. But I've been thinking about you Jayde." He says quietly. I grip the phone a little tighter, feeling my heart rate speed up. I really didn't expect to hear that from him.
"I've been thinking about you too Harry, a lot" I confess.
"Good" he says. I can hear the smile in his voice yet again and one forms on my face too at the thought of his smile.
"Bye Harry" I say.
"Bye Jayde".
