   The night after the pack started to worry about there great rock, Hope didn't sleep much. When she managed to catch a little sleep he had an odd dream. She saw her mother. "Hope, I have watched over you since the day me and your father died" Hope's mother said. "Mother? How and I talking to you" Hope questioned. "You are dreaming my child" her Mother said. "But, why. Why are you talking to me" Hope demanded. " My child since I've been watching over you, I saw what happened to our great rock" Mother said sadly. "Yes I know mother, the ground started to shake and I rushed the pack to safety" Hope paused "there was nothing we could do for the rock". Hope's mother looked at her with her soft blue eyes. "Pup of mine, there is a way to save the rock"Hope's mother quoted. Hope looked and her mother with confusion. "How, all that's left is ruble" Hope stated. "Yes I know, but back when the rock was made by our elders they used the howl of the elders" Mother paused. Then, her Father appeared next to her Mother. "Father!" Hope's tail wagged, she hadn't even gotten to say goodbye to him. She was out on a hunt and when she came back he was died. "Yes I'm glad to see you too, but me and you mother must tell you something". "Yea, what's up"  Hope questioned. "Hope, you are born with the howl of the elders" Her father said slowly. "What!" Hope had almost jumped out of her fur. "Yes, we found out when you were vary young" her mother and father said together. "What about Alex?" Hope asked. "She is also born with the howl" mother stated. "Alpha" she woke up to Storm's sweet voice. "It time for the food circle. Food cycle is pretty much the fancy words for breakfast. " Thanks for waking me up Beta" Hope said but she was lying. I need to find out more about my special gift. First, I must talk to Alex.

Hope asked Alex to take a walk around to territory. She agreed but we was confused. For the first quarter of the walk it was silent. "So...what's wrong Alpha" Alex finally asked. "Alex, last night I had a weird dream" she paused is this really the right thing to do Hope wondered "please continue" Hope had Alex's full attention " I saw mother and father and they said there is a way to fix the rock" Hope said. "How!" Alex almost jumped on Hope. "Back when to rock was first made our elders used the howl of the elders" Hope said. Alex nodded. "They said you and me have the howl of the elders" Hope added. "What! Wow!" Alex was so loud. Hope made Alex calm down. "What do we do. Then what did they say" Alex asked still kinda shocked of her new gift. "Well...I was woken up by Storm for the food circle before they could say more" Hope explained. "That little turd" Alex smirked. Hope giggled. "Tonight I hope to see them again and learn more" Hope mention. Alex looked at down at her paws. "Well, we should go back" Alex looked up."Yea, we have been gone for a while" Hope added. On the way back to the dens Hope and Alex talked about the possibilities of there new found gift.
