"What do you mean Spike ran off" Storm questioned in a urgent tone. "While we were hunting Spike just ran in to the trees and we cant find him" Storm answered. "Are you sure he wasn't just chasing a sent" Hope asked as he was sorting through her thoughts. "Yes, we all sniffed the ground around where Spike entered the trees and there was nothing there" Shadow explained. "Ok umm... I will send some of the soldiers out to try and find him so if they do and he tries to fight we have some strong wolves there to stop him" Hope told the 3 others wolves. "Ok, me and Shadow will go tell the soldiers their job as a message from you" Pride said to Hope. "Thank you Pride and Shadow" Hope responded. Then Pride and Shadow trotted of towards the soldiers den.
After Pride and Shadow walked off Hope and Storm continued on to Hope's den to discuss Emil's rank and jobs. Once they go to the den they began to think and discuss. "Well... he said he was a always a good guard or soldier" Hope said. "Yeah that narrows down the options" Storm replied. "I honestly think he would be a good guard because since he has the Howl of the Elders he would provide good protection to the camp" Hope explained. Pride then nodded in agreement right before Emil walked into the den. "Did I hear my name being said" Emil asked. "Actually yes you did because me and Hope were discussing your rank" Pride said as he stood up to address Emil. "Yes, we have decided that you will be a guard " Hope told Emil. "Ok, thank you Alpha I will do my best job to help the pack" Emil said before he walked back to the small group of wolves he was talking with before he walked into the den.
