Shaking Ground

Plot Twist

Its was early in the morning when Hope heard what sounded like paw steps in the bushes. Hope was like half asleep so she ignored it untill it became louder. She then quietly walked over and woke Storm up so they could to see what it was together. Storm clearly didnt want to be up when the moon was still out but he grunted and continued on. Once they had been looking for a while they found paw prints in the dirt by their dens. They then folowed the prints and found who had made them. Spike, and he was stalking closer and closer to the prey stash. Hope and Storm then looped around to the other side of the stash where they planned on surpizing Spike.

"What do you think your doing" Hope said as she waked right in between Spike and the prey pile. "Well... First Im moving you" Spike said as he used all of his power to shove Hope to the ground right under his muzzle. "I bet you regret punishing me when I attacked your beloved Pride" Spike said as he was about to grip Hopes throat but out of no where Pride came in and tackled Spike right off of Hope in about a split second. The 2 powerful wovles were clawing and biting at each other till Pride showed no mercy and pinned Spike to the grond right before he crashed down onto Spikes muzzle with a powerful bite. "Are ok Hope" Pride asked as we jumped from ontop of Spike no even giving him a second glance. "Yes Im fine" Hope responded as she walked over to Spike who was just getting up from the ground. "What did you think you were doing trying to steal from our pray pile you traitor" Pride demanded. "Wait were is Storm" Hope asked.

"I saw him hiding in the bushes" Pride responded but instantly snapped his attention back to Spike. "I was trying to get food" Spike said in a disrespectful tone. "You have caused a lot of trouble recently Spike but right now I need some sleep so you can stay out here but if you leave we will track you down and needless to say you wont like the out come" Hope said right as she turned to her den.

(Hope thinking) Where was Storm when Spike had attacked me? Pride was the one who saved me but he wasn't the one who I had woken up. I woke up Storm so it that were to happen we could put number who ever was here. I think that tomorrow I will talk with Storm and Pride and rethink my Beta situation.

        When Hope woke up she saw Storm waiting outside of her den looking around quietly. "Did you need something Storm" Hope asked. "Actually.... I wanted to talk to you" Storm said and he sounded said. "Ok" Hope replied. "Last night I wasn't the one who saved you. It was Pride and I was hiding in the bushes. So, I have decided that I am going to step down as your Beta" Storm explained.
