Respect your choice and I will choose another Beta" Hope said. "Thank you Alpha" Storm said right before Hope howled to call the pack to a quick meeting.
"What is it Alpha" Alex asked. The rest of the nodded in agreement with Alex. "My pack" Hope said in a confident voice "Storm has stepped down as Beta. So, tonight before we start to eat I will select a new Beta to help me with the pack" Hope continued. "ALSO, last night Spike returned to the pack but not to rejoin but he is now back in the pack but he is being punished for a long time" Hope added. Then all of the wolves turned towards Spike who was sitting in the shadows and some gave off a growl towards Spike. "But now everyone return to their normal morning jobs and be ready for tonight's Beta selection" Hope said as the pack returned to there normal duties.
Hope already knew who she was going to select as her Beta. It was obvious... Pride. But she wanted the pack to think that she was thinking long and hard but the first time she was selecting her Beta it's was between Storm and Pride. It was the smart thing to do.

The time came to eat and the hunters had a great hunt today. They had caught 2 deer and 1 huge elk. The pack had already gathered around Hope and was ready to hear her choice of her Beta. "Pack of the West River I have decided on a Beta. Your new Beta will be..." Hope was interrupted by a group of howling wolves. Hope looked to see who it was. It was.... Spike but he wasn't alone.
