Before they left, Kyra had asked for two request. One she wanted to say good-bye to her father. The other was that he would get a proper burial. Not like the other men who would be piled up and burned but to be barred.

To her surprise, King Raymus granted both of her request. He had asked if he could follow her to personally make sure he gets the right person.

He and six others followed Kyra across the field of dead bodeis to where her father's lifeless body laid.

Hitting her knees, she pulled him into her lap and cried. She didn't care who saw her weaken state. She probably could have saved him if she could have gotten the swords out in time.

With tears swelling her eyes, Kyra used her magic and weave it around each swords. Then in one movement, she pulled them out. Since he was gone, his body didn't heal and she weeped more as she was now alone.

When the men picked Adrianus up, his helment came off and the men had to catch him as they might near dropped him.

"Adrianus. My son." King Raymus's voice was low as he brushed his sweaty, bloody hair back.

"Father. Let Master Lerin determan if this Adrainus and Asharl is family." A man that looked just like Adrainus said.

"I agree with Eckard." King Omard added, "This is a very bad idea my old friend."

"There is no doubt that this is my son." King Raymus stood, "But we will take them both to Master Lerin to ease everyone's mind."

His eyes were red as he looked over at Kyra. "You said there is more to him being your father?"

"Yes."

"Would you mind telling me the story?" he asked.

Smiling warmly, she nodded, "When the time comes. I will tell you everything."

On the way back to his horse, Eckard tried to talk him out of letting Kyra stay at the castle.

"My son." King Raymus raised his hand, "This is my decision. She will be my guest in the castle. As for as Adrianus. He will be cleaned and will have a proper burial as I promised."

Kyra knew that there would be trust issues as she was exscorted through the village and up to the castle. There King Raymus himself exscorted her to a huge room where they laid out fresh clothes of royolty and showled her where she could bath.

"This will be your room as long as you are under my roof." He told her, "You will also have a gaurd outside your door to keep the peace in here."

She understood.

Once he had left, she sat down on the floor and let herself go. She was alone. She lost her love and now her father. Yet she was reunited with her birth family, she just wished that Adrianus was. There were pictures of him and her when they were babies. They were never forgotten.

After her first real shower with soap and shampoo, Kyra had to force herself to get out. She felt a renew strength and her cuts had healed but there were a few deep stab wounds that still was slowly healing.

Walking to the bed where her new clothes were waiting. She was surprised to see that they had what looked to be roralty clothes. They were made of silk and their color was silver, white and gold.

Her clothes was a bit baggy even with her goldish silver sash around her waste. Last she grabbed her sword. Instead of putting it on her back, she wrapped it around her waste. She placed Gibeon's sword beside her bed. She thought it would be best to only have one on her.
